 Sabrina Carpenter dazzled fans in Paris over the weekend in more ways than one!  The "Espresso" hitmaker wore a vintage 1990 Michael Kors silver dress to the Vogue World: Paris afterparty on Sunday, June 23.  The flirty spaghetti-strap crystal beaded minidress — which is older than she is — had a teasing neckline and ended right above her knees. Carpenter, 25, finished off the shimmering look with matching pumps, glittering jewels, a Gedebe clutch and a bold lip.  What makes the dress extra special is that Madonna previously wore the 1990 fall/winter collection dress on the December 1990 cover of Glamour magazine, the vintage store, Timeless Vixen, where the dress was sourced from wrote on Instagram

Gotta be living under a rock if you haven't heard of her especially in last few months.  Her up and coming 6th Studio album is getting a lot of buzz. The first two singles have gone top 10 in many countries.  Her latest Please, Please Please has gone #1 on Billboard.  Love that she's wearing a dress Madonna wore back in the day.

Do you mean wearing other people's costumes/outfits?

People wearing other people's gowns, costumes and outfits have been done for decades in the entertainment business. In fact, let's not forget Madonna in 1990 (at MTV Awards) wore Glenn Close's dress from the 1988 Dangerous Liaison film.  But again, it even pre-dates this as even older classic movie stars and entertainers have worn other entertainers' outfits throughout the years.

No its clearly trendy for newly famous people to buy classic pieces from someone else to get associated. Madonna wearing glen close MOVIE costume from 2 years beforehand is very different than.

Okay, if you say so!!  Even though Olivia has been in the business since 2015 and Kim has been quite famous for nearly two decades!  Yet Madonna was only hugely famous for about five years in 1990 when she wore Glenn's dress!   LOL!

Zoom in on both pics, it’s not the same dress, Madonna’s is in a vertical pattern and looks like rhinestones or crystals, unless they’re just referencing the wrong M pic. Sabrina’s is clearly sequins and in an alternating' pattern.

Yea it is. Madonna just has really big titties bulging out and not really showing off the dress that much. It's more like make up and hair glamor. Honestly looks invisible  her face and hair  draws more attention than the dress she's wearing. Hard to tell it's even a dress from the pic . Are there more pictures of this shoot? Madonna wore it better 😁
