I'm glad she is okay and is recovering. I am surprised that she was hospitalized since Saturday, since she's so active on social media. 

I don't think there really is anything to speculate. I don't think Guy owed anyone an update. It's nice he did, though. It was her health, and she has the right to her privacy. Had they said anything prior, it would have caused more panic from the general public. Some people just want privacy. TMZ sadly pays healthcare professionals to leak stuff, and healthcare workers are willing to break HIPAA compliances to share news stories for money. That's how people found out MJ died. I'm really surprised her confidentiality/privacy were respected. 

She's a workaholic. She's been rehearsing. She's a perfectionist. She has a work ethic. By the sounds of it, if she was intubated, she might have had sepsis. I'm glad she's okay and is recovering. I'm glad she had people near her to seek immediate care and support if there was a moment she was unresponsive. That's really sweet of Lola being there for her. She raised her kids well.

Her health is a priority. If it means postponing her show and rescheduling dates, so be it. I'm glad I paid insurance for my ticket since I was more worried about COVID-19 when I bought them. She needs to be her best and feel her best to do her best. She deserves to rest. I'm glad she's well and was able to be discharged. We've lost so many legends along the way, and there aren't many people from her generation who are alive and people from this generation with that kind of status and talent. 

Not going to lie, but it would be pretty fitting if she does perform Give It 2 Me now more than ever. She's dealt with sexual assault in the past, alleged domestic violence, loss of a parent and recently a sibling, homelessness when she came to NY with financial instability, a horseback riding injury, physical injuries and still performed at the Madame X Tour before receiving surgery, experienced COVID-19, and now this. Girl is tough as hell and resilient is an understatement.

In the end did she had a hip replacement or was the head of the femur? For what they are saying it’s the same but I never knew in the end which was it.

No, but that video posted above by Voguerista, the news guy goes on about them "canceling dates in January".   I suspect he probably doesn't know what he's talking about or got some wrong info?

A couple things that caught my ear.  The newscaster going on about dates "cancelled in January" seems unlikely true since there hasn't been any word of any dates cancelled yet. 

The doctor, while I'm sure he is knowledgeable, he has no idea what Madonna suffered from, so it's all speculation/assumptions.

Glad to see they didn't use horrible images or video footage of her as the press tends to do lately.

It's a bacterial infection, and she is recovering. It won't take long for her to be back on her feet and dancing again. The only thing that is a complication is that she was intubated, and that means she might have a hard time singing for a while. I'm guessing that's why they haven't announced how delayed the tour is. Dancing on stage in a month from now doesn't sound crazy, it's the voice that we don't really know how it will be impacted.

It's the same thing. When you break the head of the femur, you get a hip replacement.

I have to say that Rosie's message scares me. While "unresponsive" may only mean that she fainted, "She is alive" means that there was a risk of death... I hope it's just a response to many super-negative posts on twitter.
