IGTTYAS is the perfect example for me of the big drawback of the streaming services: they can decide, just because they want, decide, unilaterally, what serve to heard and listen. In the physical format you can have it, enjoy it and listen, previously payed. Maybe it was released in a limited way, but you can have it if you find it, there's even a possibility to heard. The streaming service.. you lose it and that's it.

Steaming isn’t the only way to listen to music you know ? That’s why I will always buy a physical version of her release …

Exactly. Streaming is on the way out. Everyone is getting physical stuff these days and streaming isn’t reliable. (Mislabeled, duplicating tracks such as fever dub, mdna nightlife on some platforms and not on others, etc etc.) no one does streaming anymore. I canceled my streaming a few months ago when they were releasing remastered causing a commotion remixes and erotica tracks on vinyl and not on streaming. Bye bye streaming. You can go to to hell.

LOL to thinking "streaming" is on it's way out?  Love how some just make things up out of nowhere.  While it's true physical formats are seeing a surge of interest, streaming is still the way most people consume their music.  It is most convenient.  But what I think @subversivewas trying to point out is that streaming platforms seem to dictate what is available to the public.  While just owning a physical copy of what you enjoy and being able to enjoy at your own leisure.  At any point, a streaming platform could remove something you've been enjoying, while having it in your physical possession, allows you to enjoy it anytime you please.

And I'm that kind of girl too, not reading MInfintiy, but I usually play my collection. I buy vinyls to enjoy them, even if they are rare ones. They are made to spin them!

Yeah,  we all get busy, but there are times I can't wait to find time to play my Vinyls.  It doesn't keep me from multi-tasking, but at the same time, it is just nice too pull a Vinyl and enjoy them, crackles and all.

No, nothing about "Causing A Commotion" coming on digital was ever rumored!

Maybe some people expected it on digital after the Record Store Day vinyl release in 2022, but that was it.
