We did come to that consensus....until we didn't. Here's what we figured out about the videos:

  • TIC VHS/LD video = 7" version
  • Celebration video = NOT the Gold Disc mix, a new edit

And here are the differences in the three audio version:

  • 7" version
    • at 0:16 the chords on the keyboards begin
  • Gold Disc edit
    • at 0:16 there's the "stabby" synth trumpet sound, then the chords on the keyboard begin
  • Celebration video version
    • at 0:16 there's the "stabby" synth trumpet sound, but the chords on the keyboard don't begin until 0:21, and it's just the last two chords, then the lyrics start

There maybe other differences in the three versions, but they can be distinguished as three different versions within the first 21 seconds of each of them.

I only know of two local versions of Holiday:

Holiday - Fade (3:55) Spain 92 9478-7
Holiday (Dia De Fiesta) - Edit (3:06) Mexico PRO-055

There shouldn't be more than those. Otherwise they would also be listed on Remixology.

Well there are more ;) I have rips of all of those, no matter if they are listed or not on Remixology
