Not even that… it’s all a bit harsh, no? I want Slide Away vocals… she just seems to sing so forcefully when live that it comes across super harsh. But I still love it. And her vocal coach should be fired. LOL.

Nope!  Madonna's unique voice makes the song, live or otherwise.  I hate cover versions of masterpieces.

I love this cover!! Her raspy voice really suits the song and makes it powerful plus the live instruments reminds me a lot of the live organic sound of the "Blond Ambition Tour" and the "Girlie Show"!

The best cover of Like A Prayer is by Loleatta Holloway. She doesn't even need the soloist she just does it herself.
