Sorry to say and i know i'm gonna get tons of shit for saying it but the choreo for Holiday really sucks. The moved looks silly and absolutely not funky. And that long jacket makes no sense either for a funky song like that. The moment she arrives on stage with the bustier and the song kicks in it looks fabulous, then she puts that long jacket on her and it's like meh... Then the silly moves comes in and it's a pure waste of what coul be an amazing performance. Into the groove could look way more funky too. All in all the undergound early 80's club segment could be way better imo. They look more kids at school show to me. The costumes doesn't have the early 80's downtown scene feel at all neither to me.  I mean you have Madonna, dancers, all the lightennings and costumes you want and you have to re-create the downtown scene from the early 80's and this all you can come up with ? I know for sure there are tons of people, even on this very forum who would have been way more creative than that.

Its the opposite to me. Seeing this live was even more amazing and one of my top 3 favorite performances of the show along with NRM & Don't Tell Me.

I absolutely love "Nothing really matters" and "Don't tell me" is great too (even if it doesn't bring anything new compare to how she used to perform it in 2000/01).

Do we know if she did Rain or TAB for SF?? Gonna see her in LA next week and I am praying for Rain

I was out in Castro and an hour ago I met a guy who was at the concert (I recognized him because he was wearing a Madonna hoodie). I asked this and he told me she sang Take A Bow. I really hope she sings Frozen tomorrow

It is such a shame you didn’t attend so your opinions could be valid

Take a Bow is permanent I think. The video guy Sasha even posted the backdrop now. I doubt they’d go to that effort just to revert back to Rain.

Just because the video guy posted the backdrop doesn't mean that TAB is set in stone. At least I hope it's not because it's sung so badly... I'll see tomorrow how it's sung, I'll try to enjoy this concert, dance away, and not use my phone this time. And I guess she's singing TAB again tomorrow.

Also, I read that the backdrop was made by an AI, not an actual artist. So, it's something that could easily be swapped out with another AI-generated thing. We'll see... Somehow, someday 😂

So i guess you never comment on anything you didn't attend right ? If i check your history in the forum i'm not gonna find any comment about a tv performance, an award performance or an 80's tour right ?!

Your points are valid, even if you didn't attend, but one thing is true: maybe u don't like the costumes, the hair or wathever, but live you have the best experience of your life and it changes all the perception of that tour. Sometimes it's reversed, I always thought that Rebel Heart Tour was better than MDNA, and I watched the MDNA DVD the other day and I thought of how amazing she looked for her age, her stamina and the impressive staging.

On the other hand... it's easy to jump on something that we really feel on a pasional way, but it's not the universal true, and sometimes your posts are angry, one-directional, and selfish. You can say the same things with another approach, because seriously... it seems that you have something deep against Madonna or the forum.

Now it's a relaxed time, she's doing the full tour without scares, being professional, recovering from the bad 2017-2022 times. It's time to enjoy and being happy that she's still having it and most important: she's good after the big scare of the last summer.

Well who knows for sure, but it is seeming to be permanent. I also hope it isn’t

I do have to say though there is a misunderstanding with AI. Sasha is an artist and so providing the prompts is part of his creativity/artistry, coming from his imagination. So it shouldn’t be written off as just something AI did on its own. It’s an art form of its own and he probably spent a lot of time conceiving, developing and fine tuning it. There is quite a detailed write up on the concept on his Instagram.

I was joking!

But I will never understand fans that are on the forums everyday, live in Europe or the US but don’t go to see Madonna. I’m in Australia and I travelled to see the last 2 tours and I am certainly not rich.

Btw regarding that section, it IS very colourful in person when you add in the backdrops and everything. Sometimes YT videos can miss the bigger picture as they just zoom in on Madonna.
