  1. It seems that this is what she said on stage last night ”MADONNA: People complain that I sing too many new songs. This show is called "The Madame X Tour", not "Madonna is dead as an artist and sings only old songs Tour". if it’s true I FUCKING LOVE HER ???????????? I hope she will write the same exact words on Instagram ❤️

  2. I look forward to experience this show... didn't hear or see anything except the "official" pictures that are not very close up. The show may look simple but I think the experience is everything. Seeing and hearing Madonna in a small venue, that's totally different from her usual arena shows for sure. So stop complaining if you didn't see the show ! Of course, any of us would have made a different setlist, but it's impossible to please everyone with such a consistant catalogue. I'm glad the Madame X album is defended by her like this, she's definitely not a nostalgia act yet and I want to enjoy. Most important thing for me as a fan, is that she sounds good singing live, because some events have been a public disgrace. It seems she delivers great vocals in the show, happy about that ! Thanks for the reports !!

  5. @Rupert76I know you're going to die: But this is also for @stefo and @Angelo! https://corrieredelmezzogiorno.corriere.it/napoli/cronaca/19_settembre_24/napoli-madonna-sogna-san-carlo-trattativa-mega-show-marzo-946760d4-de91-11e9-97c0-50808da2f516.shtml Madonna apre a New York il «Madame X», tour che toccherà i teatri di tutto il mondo e rende omaggio al couturier napoletano Francesco Scognamiglio indossando un suo abito. Peccato...».

  6. EXTREMELY INTERESTING REPORT ABOUT THE POLAROID THING FROM TRIBE http://news.madonnatribe.com/en/2019/juans-front-row-experience-and-a-polaroid/ This is Juan from Madrid. Madonna fan all my life. When Madame X Tour was announced, the first cities were in the US and to buy tickets there was a lottery system. I saw the prices and told myself: Go for one ticket in NYC. I saw the list of cities and the days of each show and decided to enter the lottery for only one in one city and one price range: VIP Medellín. Front row experience. And yes, 1,995USD plus taxes. I entered. The day the lucky winners were announced I was really nervous. No email. No email. Then I decided to check my credit card status and voilá, the charge for the ticket was there. The same day I received the email confirmation in the afternoon. Days before they emailed me with my seat: Row AA seat 12. Haaaaaaapy. So this year my holidays were going to be in the US, last stop NYC. I had to be in NYC on September 21st. I arrived NYC on Septeber 16th. The opening night was going to happen on September 17th. I had no tickets for that show. So I entered the Icon contest for 10$ tickets but I did not win. So my friends and me decided to go to a Broadway musical: Beetlejuice. Next concert happened on Wednesday 18th. For that show there was not Icon contest, and I had a cruise on East River reserved. During the cruise I decided to check Ticketmaster, to see how much were tickets for the next concert, Thursday 19th. Then I realized prices went down for the unsold seats even the verified resale tickets. And I saw one ticket that my heart started beating fast: Mezzanine Row A. I bought it. My friends didn´t have tickets for any concert, they were with me just for holidays. But on Thursday they went to Ticketmaster and got tickets in Mezzanine for 95$. So we all went to the concert that day. No long queu, at 8pm we were inside the venue. That day the show started around 10:30pm. For me, I really enjoyed while waiting for the concert to start. Show started. Amazing! No spoilers. But I had read that at one moment she tooks a selfie with a Polaroid and sells it to the audience. First day, Rosiebought it. Second night Andy Cohen bought it. That night I was attending I saw how it was sold. Two fans went in front of stage, they offered around 100$. Then a girl from row D or E went and offered 1,000USD. OMG! She got the Polaroid. Madonna said: “Only cash”. My mind started to think the idea of trying to buy it on Saturday, I was going to be front row. So I decided to try it and went to an ATM and got cash. Now my experience as VIP Medellín. Saturday September 21st, BAM. I arrived at 6:30pm. Only 5 people on VIP Live Nation queue. We entered the theater at 7pm. I went to the VIP area, there you can use your phones. Drinks, appetizers, photo call, music. Fantastic time there. Backstage tour started at 8:40pm. Amazing experience. We saw many areas, and also where Madonna changes customes. Toni Villanueva was there. Also we saw Celeste Rodrigues’ grandson: he plays with Madonna on stage. Applauses. Back to VIP area and also a first look at my seat. My seat was #12, last seat on the row was #14. Concert started around 11:30pm. The guy from seat 14 told me: “This intro is amazing”. Then Polaroid moment arrived. I was in my seat. Madonna said: “How much will you offer for it”. Two or three people went near the stairs to the stage. So I moved there two. I put on my knees. I had on mind what I was going to offer, I had the cash in my wallet. A young boy told: “It is my birthday, I offer you 500USD”. My heart started beating faster. OMG it is his birthday! But I was not going to fight against him. I had my money in my wallet and I took it out and a paper where I wrote the money I was offering. And displayed. Madonna said: “Madame X is a material girl”. Then looked at me and asked me: “How much do you offer?”. I told: “1,500USD” (and… I´m not a rich, don’t hang your shit on me…). I wanted wanted the Polaroid so badly (well, everybody offering money wanted it so badly too). She asked my name and what I did for living. Told her: “Juan from Madrid. I work in a hospital, I´m a nurse”. “You save lives”. I think some people said: “For him (the Polaroid)”. Maybe I´m wrong and they said the opposite. We counted the money, we shook hands. She also shooks hand of the birthday boy. I returned to my seat. Wow, I was in heaven, I was in front row, Madonna in front of me, talking to me, and the polaroid in my hand… But the concert was on. I focused again on the show and Madonna. Now a little spoiler: at some point, she goes down to the orchestra section, and seats on a special seat put there for her: seat #16 (later removed when she goes back on stage). So she was there again (I noticed on Thursday how good my seat was, so I knew she was going to seat and speak with the guy next to me). She was so close to me and at same face level, that I was looking at her face and eyes for about… 5 minutes? 8 minutes? That was heaven. She also spoke to me while she was there, and when she left back to stage she said: “Thank you Juan for the cash”. OMFG!!!!!!! I´ve seen her front row many times in Europe, but in previous tour in Europe the arena o stadium floor is standing, no reserved seats, so if you want front row you have to be in line for at least 2 days. Many people does it, I do it. I even know people that queued for one week. My first Madonna concert was DWT opening night in Barcelona. Since then, all tours. I use to go to one or two concerts each tour, maybe 3, but not more (I´m not a rich, don’t hang your shit on me). For this tour I already have been 2 in Brooklyn. I have tickets for 2 more in London and one more in Paris. The concert was amazing, her voice sounded perfect. My favourite part was Frozen. You need to look at her and the backdrop video. End of the night. Needed to sit for 10-15 minutes and text my friends. I was shaking. And then back to Manhattan by metro. Juan sent some photos from outside the Brooklyn Academy of Music Opera House, from the VIP area, the photo group on the stage (shot by a professional photographer, no other photos are allowed during the backstage tour), and also the photo above with the Polaroid on it. The pic is small and there’s a nice Desperately Seeking Susan heart on it but we undestand why: “It’s not about the money, it’s about the moment I lived with Madonna on Saturday,” Juan explains – and we’re sure all Madonna fans can relate.

  13. Me neither actually... The article says the tour ends on Feb 23 and we know it ends in March. It is already one of the longest Madonna tours. But we have to say that Italy remains one of the countries where M is the most popular. Last weekend I saw BOTH Crave and Medellin videos on tv!! (R101)

  17. Maybe I'm going against the tide, but I'd prefer all the Madame X songs to be performed rather than the old ones. I'm deeply in love with all the songs on the new album, expecially those with a Latin / Ethnic or Middle Eastern sound. I really love also "Sodade" that is in the Madame X tour setlist. It would be nice if it would have been included on the album. I hope we can get at least a studio version one day... The only songs that are not among my favorites are just Medellin and Future, although I must admit that after listening to them hundreds of times I no longer have those tummy aches that I initially felt...

  22. I'm pretty sure every night it goes to Raising Malawi. M has no need AT ALL to keep it. Anyway, i'm happy for these people, i mean, if u have the money, and most important, U R WILLING TO SPEND IT ON THE POLAROID, then go for it. I have the money but i wouldn't pay 1000 for it, but that's just my opinion. Or maybe i should try, as i'm a nurse myself too ??????????

  23. i read a report from one of the shows that the money would go to Raising Malawi after a fan suggested it - don't know if that was just for that particular night though

  24. @RUADJAIHave you decided to record the audio at the show tonight? ??
    2 points
  25. No... it is not a good thing. Sell or buy a Polaroid at such a crazy price, while in the world there are millions of people (and animals) who suffer from hunger and die from malnutrition, as in Malawi, it is not respectful of life. It would have been better if this photo had been put on sale by donating the amount to the Raising Malawi Fondation

  36. Agreed with all of them except for the last point regarding tour DVD. I think people are just used to using the term "DVD" and just never updated it to "Blu-Ray". I never touched a DVD since 2009, and I watch everything on Blu-Ray or from iTunes, Netflix, Prime..etc. So I do want Madonna to bring back her tours remastered in the most recent resolution, either Full HD 1080p or 4K/HDR, because most of these concerts were recorded on tape and they can be remastered, and I could also argue that even digitally recorded shows can still be upscaled to HD or 4K resolution, it might not be "real" 4K or HD but it's still better than VHS or DVD quality.

  37. Madonna's career started with Shep Pettibone. She'd be nothing without him. Who's Jellybean ? Do I HAVE to sing this one more time ? "If you could manage o n c e that would be amazing !".....Andrew lloyd Webber....on Countdown ! Various opinions I've read about Guess Who recently. The 3rd one, he said on TV and I watched. Will there be a Concert DVD ? What do you think no-phones is about ?? U won't be able to post the un-doctored vocals onto Youtube if no one's Recording ? One train of thought, reading between the less than fulsome reviews, is....it's now A Stage Show. I've done Stadiums...Pfffff ! Ahhhh Any gaffs now are part of it 'all' = TADA ! I agree with some of the above. Want a Babel fish ny one

  42. Love these videos, been watching them for a while now. Her reaction to 'Holy Water' is classic! Interesting to see a younger generation's reaction to Madonna songs I've been listening to for years. I laugh when she complains that a song is 5 minutes long and is 'too long'. She didn't 'get' Madame X at all.
