What do y’all think of this tracklist for the ‘Into the Groove’ EP?

1. Into the Groove - 4:45

2. Everybody - 4:52

3. Shoo-Bee-Doo - 5:17

4. Into the Groove (Video Edit) - 3:52

5. Into the Groove (Movie Version) - 4:48

6. Into the Groove (Demo Version) - 4:51

Maybe ‘Angel’ should be released separately:

1. Angel (7" Version) - 3:40

2. Angel (Extended Dance Remix) - 6:15

3. Angel (LP Version) - 3:56

4. Angel (Dance Mix Edit) - 4:56

5. Burning Up (Alternate LP Version) - 4:48

Edit: Added one more track to either tracklist.

I’d prefer ITG to be with Angel. It doesn’t warrant its own release. Nor do I expect we’ll get the video version or movie version.

Okay, not well but did fair.

"Everybody" didn't chart literally anywhere apart from the dance charts in US. I love the song and it has certainly grown in status over the years (as well as the rest of M's debut album, deservedly) but in late 80s/90s that whole early Madonna stuff was considered aerobics music (by M's own admission). :)

I’d be happy with a digital EP for Angel/Into the Groove as I can’t imagine they’d give us alternate versions of ItG. They’ve never given us the video version with the “good going, stranger” line before so that would be fun. I can’t imagine they’d suddenly release the movie version for the first time on one of these digital EPs, as cool as that would be.

I think it would be

Into the Groove (single version)

Angel (radio edit / 7” edit)

Angel (dance mix)

Angel (dance mix edit)

The original album version wasn’t on any singles so they might skip that. Burning Up wasn’t on US versions of Angel 7” or 12” and while Shoo Bee Doo and Everybody were on Into the Groove that track was only a separate single internationally. So it’s quite possible that none of those would be included either.

Fingers crossed it doesn’t turn out that the tapes for the mixes/edits of Angel have been lost.

Wait are they gonna release angel or into the groove?Yes pleaseee

There are absolutely no hints about "Angel" or "Into The Groove" coming but people have gone crazy with the tracklists in the last two pages. :Madonna009:

I don't think we're having anything this week either, honestly.

I doubt we’d get anything digital this week as they want to promote the American Life EP for RSD on April 22.

I don’t know who is buying mp3s these days, but Warner won’t want the stampede for expensive ltd edn vinyl to overshadow a new opportunity for fans to spend their Madollars on iTunes

I wonder if the RSD EP will ever get released on iTunes and streaming ?

Oh yeah, I agree totally. I wouldn't personally have included it. I think a q-sound Causing A Commotion would've been nice though.

Causing a Commotion is a bop but I love Who's that Girl.  It is my very favorite song.  I was excited that she sang it, albeit brief, during Rebel Heart.  I am still surprised that she did not include a number one song on the IC that shared a name with a massive tour (and a movie).   I have always thought that she was punishing the movie.  Same thing with American Pie.  American Pie was a decent hit on the world stage.... number one in many countries and number 29 in US without a proper release.

Are you ready for a miracle from Emily?

According to a member on PopJustice, we're getting the "American Life" single on digital this Friday, with this tracklist:

01. American Life
02. American Life (Missy Elliott American Dream Remix)
03. American Life (Oakenfold Downtempo Remix)
04. American Life (Felix Da Housecat's Devin Dazzle Club Mix)
05. American Life (Peter Rauhofer's American Anthem, Pt. 1)
06. American Life (Peter Rauhofer's American Anthem, Pt. 2)
07. American Life (Richard Vission Electrofried Mix)
08. Die Another Day (Calderone & Quayle After Life Mix)

Not official confirmation yet, of course. So let's wait until tomorrow when it's already midnight in NZ... to check if it's happening.

OMG. Truly amazing if it's true. :Madonna009:

OMG.  I'm TRULY ecstatic.  I love it! This is truly great news if it's true!  Thanks!

Also, can't wait to be entertained by those who will moan about some edit missing.  LOL!
