    Stunning

What an iconic stunning woman. That face structure and that body.... definition of iconic. Those eyes, those eyebrows, those lips, that teeth gap, that jawline... the closest thing to perfection.

  2. I’m getting something in this #makingmagic hashtag. Considering there was lots of Magic stuff ore Madame X maybe she created a bunch of stuff that was great but didn’t really for the Madame x theme and was such a good concept that she wanted to keep it as a separate project. Remember the masks etc? Also maybe making magic is her way of commenting on her musical creative process. A pagan winter solstice project would definitely be interesting. That’s 21st of December this year. fire and light etc.

  4. I've never heard this story, have you? I would have loved to seen it. Rafe Spall reveals he ended up 'grinding' with Madonna at wild party in NYC before his dodgy dance moves dissipated the crowd Rafe Spall has recounted the hilarious night he ended up grinding with pop legend Madonna. The Shaun of the Dead star, 37, revealed he had ended up pulling off some dodgy dance moves with the songstress, 62, during a party at her house on an upcoming episode of There's Something About Movies. Rafe recalled how he and his pals were invited to Madonna's New York City mansion after he had appeared in Betrayal on Broadway alongside Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz. 'Madonna comes and Madonna comes backstage afterwards and she really liked the show and I had a good part in the show and she was very kind to me and then the next day we all got invited to dinner at Madonna's house. 'On the Upper West side, these two huge mansions pushed together. Dinner finishes, table gets cleared. Then she's like "everybody get up and dance!" 'I'm like, don't back down. So I'm there and I'm dancing. And then Madonna comes right up to me and starts grinding on me, like hard! She's tiny, she's down there with her gold grill on.' Rafe recalled how he and his pals were invited to Madonna's New York City mansion after he had appeared in Betrayal on Broadway alongside Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz Rafe admitted dancing with the Like A Prayer hitmaker had terrified him but he tried to keep his cool, saying: 'And my whole torso starts to sweat, I'm like really frightened. She looks in my eyes and she says to me "this is who you are, this is who you are." 'Again I'm like don't back down, so I'm like "yeah, this is who I am Madge". I'm dying, I'm shaking from trying to brave this one out.' 'I thought, I've got to get out of this. I managed to shimmy out by going, do you know where the toilet is Madonna? 'I go downstairs and I'm like, oh my god, Madonna's just been grinding on me.' Icon: Rafe admitted dancing with the Like A Prayer hitmaker had terrified him but he tried to keep his cool, saying: 'And my whole torso starts to sweat, I'm like really frightened' Moves: He said: 'I've got two moves right, I've got the butterfly and the bogle. I'm in there doing the butterfly (above) and the bogle, the crowd just dissipates' However, Rafe's plight wasn't over yet as when he rejoined the party, a dance circle had formed, with Queen of Pop Madonna aptly on a throne. 'She says "Rafe! Get in the circle!" I'm like, don't back down. Madonna's on the throne, all of her dancers, having to pull off some moves. 'I've got two moves right, I've got the butterfly and the bogle. I'm in there doing the butterfly and the bogle, the crowd just dissipates.'

  10. yes, a great deal of work is putting it mildly. I had to even color correct individual scenes and sometimes groups of frames, with davinci Resolve, this all needed to be done before Topaz AI, so I had to basically cut it to pieces and then overlay the audio, which I also worked on a great deal. But dont worry, its all 100% in synch, Madonna didnt take any part of the project. ? I look forward to fans response but I am a bit nervous too. To spend so much time, energy and failing so many times, before getting it this good, it would sting a bit if people disliked it. But its ok. Many sleepless nights and alot og money and patience. That is why I am a bit reluctant to post the Nice/Japan concerts in the video thread. I have gotten so many nasty comments before for being an obsessed loon with this tour. But my heart and soul went into this project. I feel like I created something extraordinary, yet I am terrified of negative feedback.

    Madame X Tour DVD

After all what remains when an artist is gone, is the legacy on DVD / streaming whatever. I can't understand artists like Lady Gaga that have only 1 or 2 tours officially released. The Spice Girls did their most huge stage show on 2019 and it's not well documented. Having platforms like Netflix, Youtube, that will be perfect for the releases and legacy of the artist, for me it seems lazy and not smart, not releasing that material. We can't complain about Madonna... every show is documented, even Blond and Re-Invention as a documentary. I just think that the timming with her is boring, with really long gaps between every little project, that make us waiting forever and when the product is released, we lost the interest or we are tired and we moved on.

  16. For those who don't know, the Blonde Ambition script, the one she hated, is avaiable online. It made the top of the Blacklist, the scripts that didn't get to be produced, in 2016 and Universal wanted to make the film. At the time, she posted on Instagram that only herself could tell her story (https://www.instagram.com/p/BTURDmagF5j/). Here is the link, in case anyone wants to read and tell us about it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B99OA3s2AACON0I4aUQwYko2RkU/view?usp=sharing It includes her relationship with Basquiat, Wahrol and her producer Jellybean. The script ends after the VMA performance of Like a Virgin and her telling to Jellybean that she aborted their baby (wich we have no evidence that happened, it may probably be completly made up, idk)

  22. I believe I once read Swim was supposed to be released as a single. Apparently Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim) was asked to remix the song, but since he hated it Swim was canceled as a single. Unfortunately I can't find this information on the web, so do take it with a grain of salt.

  27. The Church recording studio where Orbit created most of Ray Of Light is in a nice villagey part of London called crouch end. In 97-99 I used to work at a Record store practically opposite the Old converted church and would sit on the steps outside for my lunch when the weather was fine. The way I was munching on a cheese and pickle sandwich when the other side of the wall I was leaning on the Ray Of Light and probably Music album was being created. I like to think that some of those first vibrations passed through my bones into my soul as pickle dripped down my chin. “Never forget who you are... ...pickle jar”

  34. She’s an amazing actress who will have a very successful career in the future. She was brilliant in Midsommar and Lady Macbeth. Getting someone who looks like them isn’t always the priority. I mean, look at Remi and Taron, they look nothing like Freddie or Elton as their regular selves. It’s all makeup, prosthetics, and weight that gets them to be as close as possible

  35. I get that obviously you don't like her, but you're coming across as ignorant here, sorry. Due is currently the 4th most listened artist on Spotify worldwide. Her current album has sold 150.000 copies so far in the UK (Gold) and the equivalent (sales + streaming) of 931.000 units in the US. "Don't Start Now", "Break My Heart" and "Physical" have been monster hits this year. PLUS she and her team have worked harder than everyone this year to make it all happen. No one is talking about her? Please...

  36. She sounded great and everyone listened to it, but since we're in the middle of a pandemic, she was in crutches and working on the film, she couldn't make a music video for it, which didn't help its popularity, but it was a very fun gift for the fans and I really enjoyed it.

  38. Not sure I'm liking this, but, I love her hair, nails, and makeup. What do you think? Holy 2000s! Madonna's Daughter Stars in Juicy Couture's New Underwear Campaign Holy 2000s! Juicy Couture is going back to its roots with an underwear collaboration with affordable underwear brand Parade. Of course, it wouldn't be a true Juicy collab if there weren't any Swarovski crystals involved or the brand's iconic logo visible on the pieces. The supersoft, sustainable underwear features "Juicy" written across the backside of the briefs as well as on the logo waistbands. The collection even comes with a Juicy version of Parade's Instagrammable hair scarf that has "Live Free, Wear Juicy" spray-painted on it. One surprise guest? Madonna's daughter Lourdes Leon, who stars in the campaign images. In a press release, the two brands gave a little background about why they decided to team up in the most Juicy way ever — in the form of a story: "Once upon a time Parade and Juicy Couture set out to create the ultimate collection for nice girls that like stuff. We were inspired by the revolutionary years of the early 2000s when tracksuits were softer, rises were lower, and there was bling on everything. Together, we designed a collection to celebrate the timelessness of brilliant and daring self-expression. A match made in heaven with thousands of sparkling crystals, glamorous jewel-tone shades, and a little bit of velour, Parade & Juicy Couture lived happily ever after." You can buy the limited-edition pieces in various types of set boxes, which have fun names like "Dude, Where's My Couture?" and come with a scarf and a little velour pouch inspired by Juicy's infamous tracksuits. Keep reading to get a closer look at the campaign images and shop the affordable pieces.

  41. As in 1995 Madonna did not make the tour corresponding to Bedtime Stories, it occurs to me that in 1997 she was able to do a small tour to promote Evita (both the soundtrack and the film) and also Bedtime Stories and Something To Remenber. Rainbow Tour (1997) It would be a tour of only 3 months and would begin in April in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and would end in Madrid in July of that same year. And in addition to this, the Rainbow Tour would take place mainly in Latin America, although there will be some concerts in the United States and Europe. Setlist: Act I: Rising Sun Opening: A group of dancers interpret the Descamisados while they interpret the Argentine National Anthem, while Madonna appears next to a dancer dressed as Juan Domingo Perón. 1- Rainbow Tour/Rainbow High 2- «The Actress Hasn't Learned the Lines (You'd Like to Hear)» 3- Secret 4- I'd Rather Be Your Lover 5- Sooner Or Later Act II: Silver City Interlude: Two pairs of dancers dance tango to the rhythm of "La Cumparsita" 6- Buenos Aires 7- Live To Tell 8- Human Nature 9- One More Chance 10- Another Suitcase In Another Hall Act III: Lover Interlude: No Substitute For Love (unreleased song) 11- I Want You (Orchestral) 12- Goodnight And Thank You 13- Love Don't Live Here Anymore (Like A Virgin version) 14- Don't Stop 15- Oh Father Act IV: Matador Interlude: Pray For Spanish Eyes 16- La Isla Bonita 17- Take A Bow/You'll See Act V: Paradise Interlude: Niki Harris tells a story 18 Bedtime Story 19- Like A Prayer 20- You Must Love Me/Lament 21- Oh What a Circus Encore 22- Holiday 23- Don't Cry For Me Argentina (Miami Mix) Postscript: Antonio Banderas would also sing some songs with Madonna at the last concert in Madrid.

  45. Mer Girl: it’s dark, haunting and very introspective especially towards the end when she talks about death, decay and the ground giving way beneath her. Paradise (Not For Me): while lyrics may not be as dark as Mer Girl, it sounds otherworldly and unique. Bedtime Story: the music, the lyrics and the music video detail unconsciousness, astral projection and leaving conventional life behind towards an ethereal existence. It is almost on par with Mer Girl. Easy Ride: while the lyrics is more conventional, warm and positive than the others, the words she uses and the music makes it feel more experimental and poetic than her average songs. Batuka: not only is it a genre that she never tackled before but the whole structuring of the song feels more like an anthem, a mantra or a call to war than a usual song. Falling Free: it’s very sad and bitter song about coming to terms with separation and letting go of the need to know the reasons why. The lyrics is more poetic than usual and it’s beautiful and dark. Best Friend: especially after it was used as an interlude, it sounds dark and melancholic with emphasis on regret and the lingering pain of losing someone so significant despite all of one’s effort to pretend they don’t matter. Wash All Over Me: it’s more like a classic ballad than a “weird” song, but the lyrics makes it one of their sad songs that isn’t about a heartbreak or separation but rather accepting one’s own inevitable end. Looking for Mercy: this one’s another traditional ballad, but the lyrics feel very raw and honest. It’s like Madonna is so vulnerable here and she’s suffering, she’s sad and she’s reflecting on how she feels lonely, judged and perhaps even reflecting on her age and her current state in life. She’s far more fragile and hurt than the powerful shell she usually shows herself in. It’s dark, it’s vulnerable and heartbreaking. God Control: this one’s much more upbeat compared to the others on the list, but its structure, message, lyrics and the variations in music styles and effects make it stand out as quite the unusual track. Dark Ballet: a weird song both lyrically and sonically with unpredictable variations in musical styles. Act of Contrition: another a pretty unusual track at least in terms of musical style and structure. S.E.X.: sexy and weird in terms of structure. It doesn’t feel like a conventional song even though the lyrics is pretty common in her discography. Somehow, I prefer almost all of these songs over her the majority of her songs including her hits.
