So last night was incredible. It was my final show of the tour and I saw it from the Danceteria Pit. Today I'm very nostalgic, a little sad, and so so grateful! I'm going to miss this tour so much!! She was super chatty last night! At one point I looked over to other people in the pit and said, "I can't tell if she's in a good mood or a bad mood!" And to that somebody said, "She's in a Madonna mood!" lmao. She did mention being tired, but you couldn't tell. She sounded great and her energy was spot-on. A couple of my pics:

Well, Ricardo is the worst ever photographer she woked in her career (Steven Klein is the second worst), but at least, she looks like a human on the cover and I really liked the cover. Hope the portfolio inside she looks like a person too and not a wax doll. I still have nightmares with V magazine photoshoot.

I adored this tour, it's been and will always be one of her best works ever (especially now that she is surely get RAIN back at her place, after the US league ) and she was able to combine the perfect mix of artsy theatre, disco explosions, punk-rock attitude, rough and acoustic singalong connection, with a setlist wich offered everything both, the general public and the hardcore fans, would ever ask, from Vogue to Bad girl. SAID THAT, I'm supersupersuper excited for the huge bang we are expecting for the 6 last shows BUT it really's got to end now imo. For her, who's comprehensibly tired and maybe even bored, deserving at least a two, three months of full fun and rest (next summer must be the best of her life guys: she went out from the hospital, where she was dieing, straight to the rehearsals room), but also for us who deserve new material and experiences as further steps, especially new music after a 5 years pause (and maybe more). So let's enjoy these amazing nights and the big worldwide streamed 4th of may event and let the Celebration tour go for good

I'm going to say something I know will get me banned...I cannot watch Frozen without thinking how f*cking awful that wig looks. She seriously has had the WORST wigs. Madame X i couldn't take ANY of the visuals seriously because she looked like f*cking Moira Rose!!!

You are such a tough judge 😉 Honestly when you are in the arena the sound is very different to the videos. Sometimes I feel so sad for people who only live the tour through videos or pictures (not you) because there’s nothing like the live experience of this amazing show.

Correction: 5 AMAZING shows to go and then 1 massive finale! Mexico is a completely different audience and atmosphere just saying… We aren’t just another 5 shows to go trough while the great finale comes, we aren’t Tulsa, The Appalachians or whatever the last moth of the tour in America was 😉

I think her illness and all of the well-wishes from fans in the aftermath taught her that it's okay to be vulnerable with us. And she's at the tail-end of a MASSIVE tour! It's only natural that she'd be exhausted! But, like I said, it hasn't impacted her performance at all, in my opinion. She's still giving it her all out there, like she always has.

She wasn't in a bad mood at all. I swear some people act like she's usually Julie Andrews on stage and I'm like what?! She was just her usual playful-antagonistic, cheeky self. Our crowd was great, too, which I think she fed off of. I imagine the Mexico crowds will be EVEN BETTER, so she'll love that.

"American Pie" had been a massive UK #1 and one of the monster hits of that year in Europe, so putting it in was an extremely smart commercial decision that helped the album selling more than 11 million copies worldwide. I'm very surprised she was so against that, she's always been smart with business - except for the reason she didn't want to share a cut of the album sales royalties with Don McLean for a song she didn't wrote. Also, it's not like sonically "American Pie" it's miles away from the rest of the album, especially the Orbit tracks. It's literally the same vein. When "Music", the album, was released, it already included two monster smashes: "American Pie" and "Music". Add "Don't Tell Me" weeks later and you have one of the biggest album sellers that Fall. Hit singles sold albums back then. Honestly, "American Pie" should have been even on "GHV2" too, but let's not go there.

Some folk seem locked in a spiral of convincing themselves some new music is imminent then getting very upset when it's not imminent, without her or anyone around her ever announcing new music.

I adore Garbage's recent reissue of their 1995 self titled album that's how a reissue should be done featuring remastered tracks from the original analog tapes, as well as remixes and previously unreleased alternate versions of songs

To think that even these expanded/remastered will ever see the light of day, the discussion will not end because the mastering won't be good enough, the versions won't be the right ones, the booklets won't be exactly the same font...just...what is already being said for the digital singles...

Exactly. She's definitely got more stamina than many who are decades younger than her. And I've noticed she's really slimmed down to her old physique which we really haven't seen since the Rebel Heart Tour. And I can't stop looking at this stunning image you took/posted.
