  1. I'm looking forward to what could follow the tour and she deserves a physical break after delivering such an epic show under initially difficult circumstances

  3. This tour has been one of the best times to be a fan. Seeing her pull through and do the tour against the odds without a single cancellation has just been epic. I have also noticed despite the noise of haters online the general consensus amongst the hardcore fans has been overwhelmingly positive. We haven’t really had that kind of unity amongst the fan base since the MDNA tour. It’s been amazing.

Can I get an "Amen" in how great she looks in this video! I can't stop watching it. The song is so good before the video and it's just as great now. I can't believe the life this song has had. This is rare these days. Songs come and go quickly, so we should relish the fact this song has gone on for a year now and still making waves. What's cool is that while The Weeknd is a huge in the music world these days, this song was not pushed in a conventional way. Most songs get their videos early on, but in this case, it came so much later, which will only extend the life of this song more. It's always they included in a popular game which will only blow this video and song up more. I'm so glad Madonna was part of this! She deserves this!

I feel like this is a hard one to answer because everyone is so different and has very different reasons for buying what they buy and collecting what they collect. Personally? I’d probably look to get them framed (archival framing) and displayed for three main reasons: 1. Two of those lithographs are from favourite shoots of mine and I love them. 2. I don’t look at anything I buy for myself as a monetary investment/in terms of potential or future ££££ value. I look at it as investment in my joy, and I personally get a lot of enjoyment out of using my “things” (whilst still taking good care of them) rather than squirrelling them away and keeping them absolutely pristine and untouched like I used to as a kid. 3. I’m very aware that my family and close friends don’t share my interest in / love of Madonna and just generally won’t want to be burdened with a lot of my belongings when I’m gone - they’ll want everything without sentimental value gone as quickly as possible with as little effort as possible (life is short and time is valuable). The Celebration Tour rosaries that are due to arrive today? They’ll likely end up being sold for 50p/£1 at a car boot sale. My Immaculate VIP Bomber Jacket? That’ll likely end up going for £5 at a car boot sale. My record collection? They’ll likely pick out any they have personal interest in and then call a local dealer or reseller in to bulk buy the rest and get them gone. And so on and so forth. But that’s me, and I’m not you. All I’d say is enjoy them. If enjoyment for you means getting them framed and displayed, that’s great. If it means keeping them sealed/absolutely pristine, that’s also great. You know? Life is short. Do what makes you happy.

  14. the most important thing is that: we had an amazing tour, curated in every details, with amazing songs that Madonna was not singing in years...... with M catalogue and with her 40 years, the songs they choose to put in the setlist are really perfect for this tour and this celebration, and with someone like her, with all the things she do, arrived to make a choise like this was not easy at all..... too much iconic songs, eras ecc...... im sure M was thinking about this tour for years and years...... when the show will be over, will we have on a dvd and in your minds...... (and on youtube, Facebook, insta, tik tok ecc ecc) another amazing M performance ..... a Real piece of pop culture and music history......... an amazing journey who was not only M journey but our journey too.......

  15. Agree. Its nice that she has some days off between the shows. Also, during the concert, you can see that they made sure she's not doing too many strenuous routines so she's not getting exhausted.

  16. Me too - it's remarkable she's done it, and she should be so proud of herself. I think though, they've been really clever to give her lots of rest between shows!

  17. I prefer the US one 👀 I don’t like the fact that they used an image that was already two years old for a single in 1994. She also didn’t look that way anymore. The US cover was more in line with what her style was at that time. Personally, I think the best option would have been one of these images: https://mega.nz/folder/qFgj1IxQ#cZavFyX4uUkXjYSG6CJV-w These pictures are all stunning, perfectly capture the vibe of the song and were shot in early February. That means there would have been enough time to use these for the single.

  18. It's mixed horrible though it's over layered instead of lowering Ariana's vocal a bit so they can blend right in, I could do a better job with my mobile editor if I had the remix stems lol

  19. It hasn’t leaked or ever been commercially released. It’s probably the version used for the VMA performance in 1993. I agree. I‘m actually quite shocked Playground went to #1. It’s rather forgettable in my eyes. I dislike how anti-climactic the chorus ends. You kinda expect more to come at the end of the "and why do they always say…" line but instead it goes back to the vibe from before and kinda leaves you hanging in the air. I don’t think this is a controversial opinion. I'll Remember is more accessible and has a catchier melody. The song structure is also less complex. Not necessarily. They might go with whatever is easier to find.

  20. Oh my god the Mariah remix is so chaotic she sounds like a boiling kettle. Absolutely awful and I adore both artists. Im howling at just how bad it is.

  21. They both did really well because they were soundtrack songs that were never gonna be on a Madonna album so fans who only really bought her albums were gonna have to buy it to own it. See also Into The Groove / Beautiful Stranger / American Pie / Die Another Day. She really benefited from soundtrack songs in the first half of her career and they always did well because stand alone etc.

  22. "Playground" is cute but incredibly somber and there's no wonder it was #1 only cause she was coming from her 1990 imperial phase (and probably some payola help from Warner). Of all her US #1s is the least memorable by far. It's "In This Life" twin sister but without the message even. It's quite... up there. "I'll Remember", on the other hand, is such a classic Madonna song, perfect vocals, perfect melodies and another one of her trademark iconic 80s and 90s middle 8s. Warmth as f**k. And THAT video. Hope we're getting an HD remaster for that one if the digital single is coming.

  23. Anyway let me say that, after Rain, Frozen and Take a bow, the thing that would definitely deliver this tour to history as the most fans dedicated, especially after having it notoriously rehearsed it, is a live performance of THE POWER OF GOODBYE, maybe the only real competitor of Rain in terms of emotional impact and uplifiting feeling (Take a bow seemed out of place imo and Frozen is really too dark to close the narrative before the BIM finale, even if more coherent in terms of staging). I always considered TPOG a song of acceptance and overcoming, just like Rain, and I think that the ethereal mood of the music will perfectly feet the cape/wind imaginary For the show tonight I expect her to perform Take a bow anyway, at least once more, but I still have hope to listen to TPOG LIVE (it would be amazing!!!) in future performances.

  24. Me and my boyfriend are re-watching one of the shows right now, but not on our mobile, but on our tv. It's amazing, such a huge difference in sound, so much better than watching on a mobile Phone... She looks and sounds good and the visuals are so good. This show really is a masterpiece... I forgot so many little details since ive seen it myself in Amsterdam. We are watching this one, its a great night...

OMG, besides loving the songs since first day, I think it´s unbelievable she can look like this today, it´s a bit like the Madonna of the 2004 grammies again, a bit like the LAP photoshoot Madonna, only that blonde. WOW. And to think she was looking so strange and bad not so many months ago. The glamorous diva is really back, and the song is amazing, her vocals so inflectious, smooth, and sexy as always. More things like that please.

  29. I mean, most of Bob’s parts are prerecorded except for the walking through the audience before he says “It’s Showtime” and the Vogue section isn’t even his voice… so they could get another queen if they needed to.

  33. The DVD audio for the CT wasn't redone in the studio; they took the best parts from multiple shows and then slightly used autotune on the less precise notes. The same thing was done for the MDNA Tour and RHT. However, the S&S was heavily re-recorded in the studio. They will do the same for this DVD as well. As for the audio, I can't complain too much, only the MDNA Tour's was poorly done. My concern is with the video. I hope it maintains the level of filters on her face that we see in the concert screen images and that they don't use even heavier filters. And I hope it's not that for every song we will see 200 outfits, 200 different hairstyles, and editing that could trigger epilepsy, because this time I will sue for not having a warning at the start of the video... After all, they always put it in video games.

It's ok, don't worry I wonder if they wanted to reciprocate Holiday's single release hahahah even though that one did not get a video (because MTV did not play "disco" videos) Maybe that's because they wanted to have time pass between the song and the tv show so they wouldn't be associated since The Idol flopped and was on all the worst of the year lists.

  40. Well there’s that little in-movie duet w/Jen Grey in BOB. Even in 1993 I thought it was surprising she didn’t use Bad Girl in Body of Evidence, considering how big she was on cross-promoting/pollinating at that time. Not that it would have helped either, it just seemed so obvious. They were even released right around the same time.

This is the way the industry has changed over the years. I suggest you all get used to it. Madonna certainly isn’t the only one teaming up with other artists for remixes or for reissues. She is about to chart again for the first time in such a long time and has hit an all time daily peak on Spotify…and yet her fans still find something to complain about.

I feel this can't be said enough! Not everything has to be a ground breaking work of art, it can be a pleasant song, that's catchy and cool. Expecting the next Frozen or Hung Up every time is setting yourself up for disappointment. Not only that but with more modern music, I don't find many songs hit these days. There's only been a handful of new songs I've loved in the last 3 years, whereas in 2005, every other song release was gold. I think flowers by Miley was the last song that I couldn't stop playing, nothing else this year has come close. But I like this, summery vibe, great vocal and it might well be a hit (in the USA at the very least, Vulgar may do better in the UK).

Love the song, love her verse, love their voices together. It proves once again what a versatile chameleon pop vocalist she is (something she rarely gets credit for). I hope it's a hit.
