    480 to 2160p upscales usually don't look that great. Most people still have 720/1080p monitors, and most TV channels still are transmitted through (badly interlaced) 1080i.

    I've watched him and used to belong to his Patreon when he started his Madonna journey. He was moving and kinda MIA for a bit and I stopped following.     I avoid all reaction videos. It's just silly people trying to steal others thunder. However. I do watch The Honest Vocal Coach sometimes, but her reactions are interesting, since she reacts to singing technique and stuff like that.

    But they are uploading these videos in 2021. This should be future proof. You can't just think about what the general public uses currently. These remasters already look dated in 2021. You really think we'll be getting actual remasters for Hung Up, etc in the next 10 years? I mean i hope so...but you never know with them.

    These are the only 2 reactors I have watched when it comes to Madonna Empress is def my favorite! I have enjoyed watching her experience the journey she is on & wish more people would do the same it's really the only way to truly experience & "get" such a vast legendary artist like Madonna just listening to or watching 1 or 2 videos isn't ever gonna come close to any kind of experience. I applaud her for the way she is doing it! The second guy I agree is cute as can be & his reactions to M are so great it reminds me of myself sometimes LOL! Very fun to me! Everyone else I've seen are kinda blah (except the Ajay lady just thought of her she is a RIOT & doesn't hold back LOL!) but really those are the only ones I can tolerate. I've seen others but never really find them as good as the above mentioned ones. I watch them sometimes on breaks at work & am subscribed to Empress so I get notified when she uploads a new Madonna related video. The only thing I DON'T like is this Patreon BS I will never pay someone to react to something I think that is stupid really but that's just me. Alot of them asking for money or "Patreon's" are just trying to get something for free in my opinion & I don't like that sorry! Even Empress, she has merchandise & all that I am not that into ANY Youtuber so I don't get all that but I know there are people out there who are so obviously there's a point to it for alot of people. That said, sure I like seeing people react to things sometimes especially when it's Madonna!

    I have read a lot of theories about the music video. When she removed her black jacket from the plastic, it is apparently like preparing herself for her incoming funeral. What I want to know is the ending where she unites with the Angel of Death. I wonder how that can be interpreted.

    David Fincher made an exquisite video to this song. I love the camera work, the framing, the closeups, longshot, angles and composites (the bartender wiping down to reveal the city night skyline, I think). The break around the middle with the sound effects (mouth spray, cat hissing, etc) is so perfectly choreographed. From what I read, Bad Girl was originally intended as a short film / long form music video, I guess similar to the ones Michael Jackson had been making. It would've been a great concept I think. Musically, I always felt the drum track doesn't do the song any justice. It's a cheap and quickly thrown together mess that Shep also used on In This Life and Playground. The bass could've also been a bit more prominent and why not have Slash do an electric guitar solo. That would've been cool. Can imagine one of those live award show mashups with Guns N Roses doing November Rain and Madonna joins them for Bad Girl? ??

    Maybe the real true 4K HD remasters will be on Blu-rays for each album anthology. Collect the associated videos and remaster them properly along with any KEY performances for that era. So for the first album -- Everybody, Burning Up, Lucky Star, Borderline .. maybe the American Bandstand performance with Dick Clark footage for Holiday. And then for LAV .. all the videos, and the MTV VMA performance of LAV. So they can slowly get them all released to us physically in PRISTINE versions, and then replace the upscaled versions on streaming services at that time. But for now, the upscales - if that's all we get - is better than not upscaled. And not everyone cares how perfect they are. But Madonna and her fans do deserve perfect.
