hey everyone - I'm here again pouring my anxious heart for you all to see. I've updated my 3D model using the leaked official plan as a guideline. the BIG question in my mind is: Where are they going to hang all the equipment for the lighting of the runways? you can see that in my model I've attached the main stage with the big steel pillars in front of the stage (like the Confessions Tour) - that would be enough to accomodate everything. however: I've been following the live beach cam and the crew has yet to attach these pieces of the stage together, so I'm thinking its not gonna happen, since the stage has already arrived in Brazil and is scheduled to be setup starting tomorrow morning. so... 6 days to go and we'll see how will they deal with the hanging fixtures.

Just to compile the information shared thus far into one post: 1. THE SHOW WILL BE BROADCAST ON TV GLOBO & MULTISHOW. YOU WILL NEED TO CREATE A GLOBOPLAY ACCOUNT. The show will be broadcast on the Globoplay channels TV Globo (a free TV channel in Brazil) and Multishow (a paid for channel in Brazil). Confirmed here. We can expect to see the programme listing here by Wednesday 1st May/Thursday 2nd May, and on the day, there should be a banner on Globoplay. Reports are saying Globoplay will have an open signal (so the show will be available to watch without being logged in), but to be safe, you can create a free Globoplay account to gain access to TV Globo here. Alternatively, you can sign up and pay to gain access to Multishow here with the ‘Globoplay + canais’ subscription. Please note: You will be asked to provide your telephone number as the final step of the sign-up process. The input field seems to restrict the number of digits you can enter, which may present an issue with some international telephone numbers. There should be an option to skip entering your phone number and set it at a different time. If - for any reason - the option to skip doesn't work and results in you being presented with an error page, people have reported that doing a password reset seems to resolve the issue. 2. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO VIEW/WATCH TV GLOBO OR MULTISHOW WHEN LOGGED INTO YOUR GLOBOPLAY ACCOUNT YOU WILL NEED TO USE A VPN THAT HAS BRAZILIAN SERVERS. Due to copyright restrictions and geo-restrictions, you may find yourself unable to watch TV Globo or Multishow even after creating your free account or setting up a subscription. In this instance, you will need to use a VPN that enables you to connect to Brazilian servers in order to watch. Commonly recommended VPNs include NordVPN and Surfshark due to the range of servers available and fast download/upload speeds. Both of these do charge a small monthly fee, but come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you sign up for either now and do not wish to use them beyond the broadcast, you can cancel and get your money back. Not sure how to set up and use a VPN? On the day of the broadcast, ensure you have connected to a Brazilian server/set your location to Brazil via your VPN. I'm gonna miss her speeches so much: Some fans say they're all very somber when she goes there but we shouldn't underestimate the importance DEATH has had in her life... literally her show is full of dead people... and yet she's still here. She's the result of losing her mother, of losing her friends in the 80s, of losing each one of her peers through the years... Also, I read this interpretation yesterday on PopJustice about the "Bedtime Story/Ray Of Light/Rain" part, and while I'm not sure if I agree completely, made me think: After watching the full show like a thousand times, something has clicked with me regarding the second half of the show. It always felt strange how well-represented her 80s, 90s and 00s life is and how there is a lack of focus on the 2010s and 20s, musically too, but mostly narrative-wise. But something in her recent, more sombre speeches made me realise that it's not about these decades, it is simply not about post-2000, it is about post-1996. She doesn't define herself by any other means than being a mother. I still remember how the fact sheet came out before the tour and we learned about the "time capsule" that would represent the past, the present and the future too, which should be the Bedtime Story / Ray of Light / Rain act. But she doesn't have a future. Her only future is death - a loss of words and consciousness for good, becoming nothing more than a transcendental idea floating in space, and finally feeling her own mother's love coming down like rain. (Add the Virgin / Billie Jean mashup about the public's perception of the two being the king and queen of pop and being finally at the same place - not in heaven, but in people's consciousness as the two greatest in pop music being gone.) If anything, the 00s act doesn't represent a past point in her life. Motherhood is her present and if she can fulfil that role for as long as she can, she doesn't have to accomplish anything else in her life. And to think this is her show, her narrative, and she's just survived a huge health scare, she must be hurt being reminded of this every night for the last few months. Be right back, I'm crying. What do you think?

If you had someone (who was very interested in Madonna, but, hadn't listened to any of her studio albums in full yet) ask you which "studio" album of Madonna's would you recommend for them to listen to first, which album would you choose? I'd choose "Confessions On A Dancefloor". I love how it's structured like a "DJ set". You can dance to it and it's still relevant to this day. I think they'd only want MORE after listening to it.

Everything about this Rio show is intriguing. This is her most interesting concert ever, I need to know all the details of the production.

I'd have a hard time in just narrowing it down to just one. Though, I do agree Confessions would be a good choice, especially for someone more younger. I think if I had to choose, I'd just say start with the debut and experience her career as it unfolded...

I've had the post-show blues for a while and have been avoiding watching too much (because it's had me regretting not travelling to see the show a final time)... but I'm out the other side of that and incredibly excited to see the show again on the 4th (well, the 5th for us in the UK) I called off a Bank Holiday getaway and everything to make sure I can be home with my good internet (absolutely no regrets)

Yes. The amount of numbers it was requiring didn't fit the way we list our numbers. Luckily there was an option to leave it for an update later. However, each time I tried to bypass it, it kept sending me to an error page. Eventually, when I reset my password, I was able to by pass submitting my number. Anyway, I am able to access the site and content without no issues of now. Keep in mind everything remains locked until you switch to a Brazilian VPN server.

I wouldn't start with a studio album. I would just recommend the 2 cd version of Celebration or the DVD (or the Confessions tour DVD) and then let that person decide which tracks/eras to start discovering. The easy answer would be telling Confessions, Ray Of Light, True Blue or Music but all her albums are so different from each other that starting from a compilation would give that person a bigger perspective to choose where to start from (that's why I also mentioned the music DVD and the Confessions Tour, Madonna's visuals are increible).

It completely depends on what kind of music they are into. Pop fans? Confessions or Rebel heart Classic rock fans? Like a prayer Electronica and ambient fans? Ray of light Jazz and spoken word fans? Erotica or I'm Breathless 90's ballad fans? Bedtime stories Broadway fans? Evita R'N'B fans? Madonna Hip hop fans? Hard Candy... I guess? Taylor Swift fans? The point is they were so sure this wasn't going to happen. Whether it was "secret" or not, they went out of their way to try to insist it wasn't happening. This is just one of many times they try to insist anything they don't post isn't accurate. They go out of their way to disprove anything else they aren't able to provide an exclusive for, but the moment they make a mistake they quickly back pedal. And the info you claim they did know has usually been reported by someone beforehand in most cases, but some seem to conveniently dismiss that and think DM is the site who has everything "exclusive" when it's not always true.

Oh my, but the platform they are building now is gonna be the BS video box one?
