Yes, although remastered. The US Remix is also a new remaster. It's not identical to the one from the 2001 Re-Issue. In fact, the can't be synched up at all, so they must have tweaked the tempo one of the versions. I would say the 2023 Version is by far the better one. There's more dynamic range and the 7" Edit perfectly synchs up with the digital reconstruction which I meticulously modeled after the Vinyl Rip: [Hidden Content]

A step in the right direction: remastered but not with the dynamic range compressed like Gambler or Everybody (at least in the sample). Now we have the mythical 7'' from a digital source.

we're only gonna get a Tik Tok of David dancing to Holiday wearing the original Maripol's Like A Virgin cover wedding dress and fans will have a meltdown because it's two different eras but some (me) will see it as hint we're gonna get both expanded deluxe remastered albums at the same time in the fourth quarter of the year.

What I expect. LOL. Obvs fan made but oh well, hope we get something nonetheless.

To be honest, having the "Lucky Star" release tomorrow is not a good indicator of us getting "Madonna 40" announced and having pre-orders set tomorrow as well. In a normal situation they wouldn't mix those two, especially if "Madonna 40" came with a pre-release track like "FEL" did with "Into The Groove (You Can Dance Remix Edit)", but we'll see. At this very moment I think the "Lucky Star" digital single and maybe the remastered video is all we're getting tomorrow. Sad but at least it's not NOTHING. Hope to be proven wrong... Remember we've created all this hype for tomorrow ourselves. There's literally ZERO evidence anywhere except for Guy O. change his Instagram profile picture to the debut album cover.

The 7"edit on this has a run time of 3:52 so it looks like the original 7" version, the Immaculate and Celebration versions are 3:37 I think...

That CD doesn't have the real 7" edit according to the notes: This CD contains a unique version of Madonna's "Lucky Star" that is the same as the original 7" edit except it has an extra keyboard stab at the 16-second mark. The original 7" edit has not yet been released on CD.

I don't get it either, he's so bland and a lot of his songs are just straight up 80s rip offs. I've seen people comparing him to Prince which is insane. Speaking of Prince... I don't like they one they've used but it's official - and the picture it's good and somehow iconic, since it was "The First Album" reissue cover in Europe and Australia: The other option would have been this other official cover: Also terrible xd

The music release surely was a last minute thing. She had secured the film rights with Paramount+, remember there was talking of it being with Netflix and the film being more documentary-type, not just the concert. Then according to rumors the Netflix deal fell off, cause they wanted too many changes (she ended up shooting more closeups in 2021) and cut some parts ("My Dark Ballet, not yours!") and she just said "fuck it" and then found another deal with Paramount. I guess when the time came for the film to come out, she was already back to Warner and the option to release the music version with them seemed logical, especially back then when it was just a digital release, easy and convenient (now we'll have the vinyl next month, too).

For the different tempos of the US remix, if I am not mistaken, one of the factors that affects it could be the source material or the master they use for the release.

I agree, the digital release of Lucky Star is it I'm afraid lol I don't know if she'll even acknowledge anything on social media - she didn't for Hollywood.

The new remix of Blondish Sorry is nice, I like it better than the original. Love all this Madonna hitting streaming.
