  5. Why? She had an amazing body for that age. Somebody stole those unreleased pics and leaked them years ago, so good that she's not ashamed of them. And she has a good Instagram, she's posting what she wants, not what is PR acceptable, that's very Madonna. I'm not ashamed of her, are you?

I think it’s close to being done. I mean it has been like 5 months since it was shot and she legit has nothing else to do in quarantine. i feel like she wouldn’t post about it if it wasn’t like the Final Edit or something we also got a very well edited trailer in the beginning of March so we can assume that its in the later stages Also she does seem so happy and excited. She looks so cute

i dont believe she has much to do with the actual editing process this time other than probably some notes. im sure this is probably a completed version if not to get her approval on the final.

  19. It is professional voice acting—her voice came across as rich, powerful, putting the fear of God in the ears of the listeners, and she has great diction. She wasn't merely reading. Just like her spoken part in Dark Ballet—put the fear of God in the ears of the listeners. I'm sure other listeners felt that "fear" as well. You see, it's all subjective. As wooden and unnatural as Mo comes across in films to many of you, she comes across as genuine and natural to others. In my case, that may be because when watching Madonna act, I forget about the Madonna persona and focus on the character. Madonna herself was asked if she could act (by Larry King if I recall correctly), and she said: "Yes." To me, Madonna is also a triple threat (singer, actress, dancer). That and more! A clip of Madonna in Arthur and the Invisibles (professional voice acting):

  22. I wouldn't call this a "calm old lady": But I love how Cher does it with humour. She looks glamourous without trying to look young and sexy, while Madonna with grillz and other... ehm... additions ends up being ridiculous.

  23. I'm loving this piece below. I agree how Madonna's most underrated song would be "I'll Remember"!! I'll never understand why Madonna ignores it for her tours, etc? This song is such a MUST for her next tour imo! This is Madonna's most underrated song Madonna is just full of surprises. It's how she's remained the Queen of Pop for literally decades. She thrives in contractions. While she consciously crafts herself as a sex symbol, she's a mother to several children. While she puts forward an impenetrable shell, fortified by her massive net worth, Madonna has also had a really tragic life. With this mystifying persona surrounding the woman (not to mention the controversy), sometimes it's easy to forget that she's first and foremost a musician. According to The Guardian, Madonna is, in fact, the best-selling female artist of all time. She is the only "female artist to have sold more than 250 million units in claimed sales," according to Decluttr, putting her up in the ranks of The Beatles and Elvis Presley. As such, Madonna beats other heavyweights like Lady Gaga or Beyonce and is sitting pretty at the top. With such a huge catalogue of music, it's tough to narrow down a favorite tune among Madonna's singles but there is one song in particular that totally deserved more attention than it received. Check out Madonna' most underrated song and see if you agree with us. Madonna's 90s masterpieces Madonna's had so many hits. How do you even choose between "Holiday" or "Material Girl?" While a lot of her songs get the attention they deserve, there's one that got pushed by the wayside that totally should have received more praise. That special song is the 1994 ballad, "I'll Remember." Prior to the release of this song, Madonna was fueling a sex-charged persona, made iconic through Erotica and her coffee table book, Sex, according to EW. Following this, Madonna entered a more subdued and considerably more sophisticated period, marked by this gentle ballad from the movie With Honors. According to EW, Madonna's frequent collaborator, Patrick Leonard, worked on the music for this film and he co-wrote and produced this song. What made "I'll Remember" so unique, according to EW, was that the song had another co-writer, Richard Page of the '80s 'Broken Wings' group Mr. Mister. "I'll Remember" is so remarkable, according to The Guardian, because its atmospheric verses pave the way "towards Madonna's Ray of Light masterpieces." It's totally a game-changing tune.

  31. Truly underrated? Probably "Get Together". Should have been a much bigger hit. A great video would have helped. And when they were released "American Life" (song/album) "Bedtime Story" (one of her finest moments ever) "I Want You" "The Look of Love" "Fever" "One More Chance" gets a lot of shit but she sounds great and like she believes and feels everything she's singing. "You Must Love Me" (yes it won an Oscar but it wasn't exactly huge. Not an easy song to sing and she sounds amazing)

  32. It would make a perfect encore on tour, when she won't be able anymore to deliver a tour-de-force all dancing finale à la Celebration in 2012.

  33. sorry Arckangel I'm not of your opinion I wish I was tho the only movie I see Madonna act is Dangerous Games/Snake Eyes you get some good moments throughout music in both Dick Tracy and Evita - and she sparkles a joy here or there, but acting itself is not what I see - the movie is celebrated for having her in it not exactly because she is acting. Now as a director she is waaaaaaaaaaayy more talented as an actress. But lets we all celebrate 30 years !!!! of Dick Tracy

  34. I agree @Gilbert her speaking voice is terrible, especially when she is not portraying over the top characters. That is why The next best thing and Swept away are the worst, especially if you compare with the original Swept away. Snake Eyes is the exception, pity the film is bad in itself... This doesn't happen when she is singing, that's why Evita is absolutely the best and she is a wonderful actress in her videos, from Borderline to American Life. But I think she gave a coherent performance in Who's that girl, too.

  35. Not to me. I have seen a lot of her movies (A Certain Sacrifice, clips from Vision Quest, Desperately Seeking Susan, Shanghai Surprise, a clip from Bloodhounds of Broadway, Who's That Girl, Dick Tracy, A League of Their Own, Body of Evidence, Dangerous Games/Snake Eyes, Four Rooms, Evita, The Next Best Thing, Die Another Day, Swept Away), and I never noticed anything bad, amateurish or mediocre about her acting—always seemed natural to me (she did study acting in 1979). Keep in mind she's also acting in her music videos, esp. those like Oh Father, Bad Girl, Take a Bow (helped her obtain her starring role in Evita), The Power of Good-Bye, Ghosttown and God Control. It's not fair to call J-Lo a "triple threat" and not Madonna; Madonna's just as good at acting, and even did three stage plays: Goose and Tomtom, Speed-the-Plow and Up for Grabs. Obviously, she was passionate about it. (People just had a bias against her as an actress just like many have a bias against her as a singer/vocalist or even as a dancer). Just go back and watch that scene from A Certain Sacrifice where a man sexually assaults her in the toilet of a diner... The way she cried and was so distraught afterwards. That was real acting, and I definitely felt the emotion.

  37. How I love I’ll Remember. My issue with songs long forgotten that are brought back... they either come back as an interlude or an acoustic version. Or a sample. what about Where’s The Party? Sampled on CT. Open Your Heart. First sampled in DWT then very much brought down in MDNA. She performed a mildly upbeat version of it for that fundraiser for Leo... what happened to that? I’ll Remember is so beautiful. I’d love to hear her sing it again. ugh.

  39. i think we are all agree that she wrote so many dulls during the last decade. It's like if her filter for trash is broken since 2007. You can make 2 albums with all of them.

  42. I like Ajay. You can tell she goes in blind (she doesn't usually listen to pop music outside of her videos) and her analysis are actually interesting. Also...i find it interesting that most young people not ageists, not influenced by reviews or hype, always love Rebel Heart. Says a lot, IMO.

    Madonna: Rare

July 8, 1990 - Rare photo of Madonna and personal assistant Melissa Crow in a hotel room during the Blond Ambition World Tour in Paris, France. Madonna's brother Christopher was having an art showing that day, and it looks like this was prior to her leaving for it.
