  1. I was at both Dallas shows, so here are some small things I noticed: Night 1: -She started about 15/20 min later than she has been these past few weeks and I didn't really think anything of it until... -During the Burning Up speech she said she was in a mood, but I think she played it off really well and even told the crowd she was feeling a lot better during the Express Yourself speech. -During Celebration, she was saying her thank-you's and she made a very vague apology to Bob, like "Thank you Bob, and I'm sorry for that thing that happened". I wonder if something happened before the show between the two that put her in a funk? IDK, pure speculation. -The show was PHENOMENAL! I was at the 3rd row after the end of the catwalk so I saw her up close during Hung Up, Don't Tell Me & Express Yourself. Seeing her so close almost... humanizes her in a way? Not sure of the right term, but I just kept thinking "Wow, she's 20 feet away from me. And she's just a normal person". You get so used to seeing her in wide stadium shots on DVD and on TV performances and think she is this untouchable entity, but when you're that close she just feels so normal. Like performing is just her job, she just happens to be incredibly good at it. I'm still on a high from seeing her, so this probably doesn't make much sense. Night 2: -I was in the 2nd row of the highest section, so I got a more birds-eye-view of the show. Both floor and upper levels have their strengths and weaknesses. -She was in a GREAT mood all night, and I felt was a lot more chatty with the audience. -Her voice was a little more hoarse than normal so it cracked a few times. Nobody seemed to care. -During both shows, she really stressed her love of being a mother. I think she said night 1 was David's birthday so I think she was in a reflective mood. -Some of the things you think might not really work, surprisingly do when you see it live. I never hated the ending, but thought it could be improved. However, the audience went crazy with all of the reincarnations, so I think it kind of distracts from some of the weaker points of the encore. OVERALL, 10/10 concert. Super looking forward to any streaming/video release so I can re-watch in pro quality.

  2. A little reminder for the "know it alls" and the "what's the point" crew. What exactly was the point of these singles, exactly? Also, no the Immaculate Collection Version of Live To Tell isn't an edit. It's just a Q-Sound Mix of the album version. There is not short version of Live To Tell available on streaming. Also, the 7" Edit isn't even some obscure local or promo only edit. It's THE 7" Version released on all formats of the single. If there was supposedly a point to release the singles above with only one or NO new/exclusive tracks included, then yes there DEFINITELY is a point to release Live To Tell and Crazy For You.

  3. The indoor arenas use the actual arena infrastructure to suspend rigging for whatever show is being presented, as in the picture above. Yes, all arenas are different, but they're made for rigging up whatever a production may need. For stadium or outdoor shows, since there is no roofing (and said infrastructure) to house/hang a production, they have to actually build it (that's what I meant by "custom engineer" it). Like the Sticky & Sweet stage below - What I meant was they'll have to build something like this if they're going to present the full, original production as she's touring it now - as major parts of the production require rigging (hanging) far out into audience, over the multiple catwalks. I don't think it's impossible...I think some of us are just unsure considering all shows so far have been indoors. (Sorry, I'm trying to explain it as best I can (based on what I've learned about touring productions). I apologize if I'm not clear... )

  4. Some fans forget something very important. Many non-fans only know and love the versions played on the radio. And those are the versions they want in streaming (including me).

  5. Anything from I'm Breathless was pretty damn impressive. That was the first time she truly showcased her vocal abilities on a full album.

  10. Whatever she has been recording in the last 5 years it’s time to see the light!!! Madonna premiering her brand new song would be the cherry on the cake The release after all the edging

  11. Madonna is a great studio vocalist, she can really adjust her vocals and create a great atmosphere for the song with her vocals alone.

  12. We shall see! It will be exciting either way. She loves to surprise us! It’s fun to speculate but in the end, it’s best to be surprised. Surprise surprise!

  13. I think it might be like live aid or the Maluma show in Medellin. No fancy lights or screens. Just a few songs from Celebration plus Foz Gastozo with Anita from the pool area of the hotel like that Holiday performance she did by the poolside of a hotel.

  14. I hope she will sing a new song or even announce the new Album at this show. It would be the best opportunity!

  16. No different than the many who fly in from all around the world to see her at other venues. Still, I suspect the native fans will have much more of an idea to score a good view than someone just coming in from another country. Nevertheless, this is a huge event. I think most know this isn't a "competition" and it's about having a fun outdoor concert experience.

  17. that's her - i've had singing lessons voice it is a bit of a daft question though anyone can sing not everyone can perform

  20. Bob Dylan sings horribly and he was there. When he sings he sounds as if his testicles were being pressed. Lou Reed was a terrible singer too, and what about the New Order singer? However, Madonna is always attacked for her singing. True, she doesn't have a wide vocal range, but neither do have it Minogue or Spears, whose voices are irritating, mediocre and unbearable to listen to to me; what's more, what they lack is expressiveness and emotion, which Madonna has in spades. Or at least had, prior to her ruining singing lessons, which took away all the fun in her voice. "More" (From Dick Tracy) is a perfect showcase for her singing talent. It's a very difficult song to sing.

  21. Perhaps she will extend the concert by including the part put aside following her infection. I hope she adds a final song

  24. Actually, it is setup to be attached to the venue though. All the rigging for the entire show, particularly the extended lighting, flying portal, etc. are suspended using the infrastructure of the arena. That's typical setup for arena shows. Considering the design of this show, it essentially was made with arenas in mind - The only time they design and erect custom housing for the rigging system (depending on the design of the show) is when artists do outdoor stadium gigs (hence no roof). They can design a housing that will support it though, but it has to be custom engineered for it (like the extended rigging housing the circular screens that came down over the circular stage b for Sticky & Sweet). So technically it's not impossible. But I think it depends on the specific design of the individual show. Perhaps she worked it out as part of the deal? It would seem a bit out of character for her to compromise nearly the entire presentation of her show, esp. if said show is going to be filmed. Anyways, who knows...

  26. I like some of her songs, admit, but the fanbase is annoying as hell and I HATE the fact that they try to sell her as the biggest pop act ever when we all know that the biggest and best pop artist, alive or not, is Madonna. Our Queen is the one and only, the first and the last, and there'll never be someone with the same impact, energy, courage, boldness and, as we like to say here in Brazil, colhões as her.

  30. I take @Honey Little seriously. Even though he’s a bit silly sometimes he isn’t mean spirited or a trouble maker. He also votes in all my polls first and he loves Madonna. Team Honey Little!

  37. From what I've read so far from TV Globo, you won't even need to create an account to watch the broadcast, it'll be signal free for everybody. I don't think there'll be any issues for the foreign fans to watch. Maybe just have a VPN ready, just in case.

  39. I think all her vocals are great. I think the least impressive for me is Rebel Heart and/or MDNA and/or Hard Candy. She revived her vocals in Madame X though!

  40. Seeing as some of her remixes became the definitive versions of her singles, there is definitely a purpose and desire from the fanbase. I mean look at the Ultra Violet edit of ROL...it's literally the version she's doing on the tour celebrating her 40 years and also a few years ago Tracy's remix of Crave became such a moment that's the version she performed on tour. Stuart's remix of Hollywood is iconic due to the VMAs performance. I could understand if she wasnt the artist with the most #1s on the dance chart or used them for iconic performances but she's definitely utilized remixes her entire career and they are just as important as the main versions. Also in 2024 ain't nobody got time for CDs. Just isnt practical and those living in the modern times want their collection on streaming.

  41. Or maybe the opposite, that they're making space for something new. I remember the old singles stopped for a while before "Finally Enough Love" and its pre-release tracks. Who knows, we'll see in the end.

  42. Actually the side screens are sort of useless anyway with this setup because there will be no seats to the side. Maybe giant screens on the side of the stage like the older tour instead? They can also put screens all along the beach so the entire audience can watch something no matter how far back the are.

  47. OMG. Imagine going there, being in the back, and then having the audacity to tell people the next day that you went to a Madonna concert. I mean, I was basically at the Madison Square Garden shows when I was at my apartment watching TV that night then.

  48. Honestly I can't see a better album title other than "Ray Of Light". Positive, cool, fresh, tells the narrative in itself with just three words, new mom, new Madonna, new sound, cool, Spiritualdonna, I mean it was perfect.
