I will say, it's not Emily's fault that the upscale looks weird. I guess it is the master video they used. Compared to other videos from other artists, the upscale looks good.

Agree. M's upscales get a lot of heat and while some of them are not perfect, in general they're way better than other 80s, 90s and 00s upscaled videos...

I would say, a lot of upscaled videos from other artists look bad because again, it could be the master video they used. Madonna's upscales, despite being upscales, look good... except for Take a Bow and Secret, of course. I will say, the Erotica era videos are top tier remasters.

I disagree, her worst upscale is Rain, her makeup does not translate in HD, she looked beautiful in the SD video, she looks like a drag in HD.

Is Burning Up [Demo 11-22-1982] identical to the one that appeared on the 12" Vinyl? I compared it with the Remix Edit from the Japanese CD Collection and it sounds just a tiny tiny bit different in terms of mastering. If it's indeed the one that was pressed on the 12" single, then we'd have an actually lossless source of the original master of the 12" Version!

Yes, the 12'' version is the same as that demo (just properly mastered for release). Just like Physical Attraction Single Edit is lifted from the Demo 11-23-1982, I believe.

I'd rather use the file from the original 'Madonna' release on streaming, that's the proper master for the 12'' version. I think they replaced it with the remastered version now, but maybe someone still has a copy?

Yeah I thought I ripped it but the one I have also plays the Remastered Version. 😩😩😩

I'm guessing Deezer didn't have the same one as Spotify. How fucking annoying.
