Well... I agree some fans exaggerate a little bit, but I prefer the critical sense instead of licking her ass and believing everything she does is flawless. I mean... It not even coadunate with her teachings. She never sayed "Well I did this or that simply because I'm right and my point of view it's the right one", instead, she always says she do things because she wanna wake people up. You know... Come Alive was a highlight of the show. It probably will he included. If they’re trimming anything it’s gonna be her damn speeches. Cutting the polaroid, self reflection, and beer bitch literally frees up 30-40 mins.

Never saw the tour but Im of course interested to see it but I have serious doubts about the editing especially after the dreadful work done on MDNA and RH films - it’s a theatre show not a pop video ? I just hope it’s at least watchable -

I got a little disappointed about the way she told she was vaccinated in the video. She spoke like it didn´t have any importance. As a politicized artist she is, I think she should had made a post with picture or video of the vaccination and a encougarement message. Other singers who don´t get into political causes, like Mariah and Kylie, posted. Why didn´t Madonna?

What dates did you go? I'm glad you loved the show but to call it a failure??? It was a sell out and every one of us would do it again. I dont care about the cost of fking tour books. If you think this show was a failure, why even be excited to watch it or talk about it. People were gagging for tickets when it went on sale. To be in a theatre with her is worth that money. Jesus you pay that to see Usher or some shite in Vegas. Plus 'the show isnt finished'... You dont know what she had planned after when it moved to arenas in other areas. Maybe that will be in the doc. Stop being so negative. You know her show couldnt fit in many theatres and the backstage/understage was limited. She did as best she could!

I think there's a verse missing in Deeper and Deeper, the Dress You Up / Into the Groove / Lucky Star Medley was shortened down, IIRC Lucky Star was missing from both the broadcast and final release, the intro for Music was a bit longer and i'm sure there's others

Lol yup! I remember sneaking multiple times to get closer to the stage and crouching in the aisles cause yknow, halfway through the show people are buzzed & start moving around lol. Then she calls this girl named Kim Kordasheen or something and she was right next to the seat I was crouching at LMAO. Apparently she is this huge but talentless celeb?? IDK But I saw her so damn close during Extreme Occident. And damn... that ASS mama!

God, I hope this isn't edited like the MDNA Tour I watched yesterday. On average, I would say the shots change every 2.5 seconds, sometimes less. Divide that into 113 minutes and you have around 2700 shots. Probably much more, considering the more rapid cuts. The crazy, erratic editing (sometimes interspersed with slow motion shots) doesn't even flow together that comprehensively much of the time. In fact, the chronology seems broken at times. She holds the microphone for one audience member, in the next shot for another and in the following shot she takes the mic away from the first person. I didn't even realize until over an hour into the movie that part of the audience floor is inside the narrow parts of the stage because of the rapid editing. The heavy color filtering, digitally inserted elements (not frequent at least) and about twelve minutes of black and white with high contrast still captures doesn't really help either, in my opinion. Even a movie as recent as The Drowned World Tour from 2001 has far fewer shots, which lets you better appreciate what is going on better. It's so much more relaxed. I tried to look out in the credits for who edited it, but if it was there I didn't catch it.

In my case, yes. But thanks to her music. I was a closeted gay and only my best friend knew the truth. Yes but Kylie also promoted the hell out of that GH and had digital/cassette/2CD/3CD deluxe and LP versions. Going back to the 2012 GH, that charted lower than the 2019 GH because Kylie was focused more on promoting the Abbey Road Sessions and she did a re-release of her 2004 Ultimate Kylie GH in certain regions the year before that to tie with the home release of the Aphrodite Tour CD/DVD. It also only had digital and CD options. Kylie also had her Glastonbury performance to help propel SBIT considering the major significance of her performance. Not saying the biopic and the amount of fans/collectors won't be big enough to help a Madonna GH chart well but Madonna would need to do more than a tweet or an Insta story of an Aldo Diaz image with #soon #bitches #madamex #davidbanda #stella #estere #mercy for it to do "Step Back In Time" numbers and chart placements. Madonna may be the bigger and more well known icon but Kylie has done a better job at protecting her legacy and image the last few years. Let's be real, Madonna's team has done the bare minimum to protect her legacy. Unless they give Emily a raise and start paying her on time, the most we'll probably get is digital and CD formats and maybe a vinyl version if we're lucky.
