Laugh all you want but Emily's doing a good job rendering frame by frame! 90% of the HD upscales for old commercial pop artists and bands are... not good. Automatic works with not much love behind, render, export, upload. At least Emily seems to care (most of the time). We love you Emily. But please buy another computer so you can do at least two at the same time.

Honestly, all of this is a waste of time unless they use the original negatives, or the positive celluloid. Maybe in a few years AI will be able to do the rescaling well, but right now it only worsens the result of SD videos (because to do it ok they need the best existing SD master).

Holiday (WTG Tour) Music Video or Celebration Video?

The old rendering machine crashed last night when she tried to upscale Human Nature and Celebration at the same time. The approximate completion date of the job is april 2034

"Popular" is a bona fide success and we should be happy that she's part of it. We've been asking for this since... well, 2012? 150M streams only on Spotify and in barely more than 2 months is amazing and it should end up at least with 250-300M if it keeps at this rate. I don't LOVE the song but obviously I'm incredibly happy for her and it's just what she needed: to boost her own numbers, her confidence and to pave the way for any future solo releases.

On the topic of ‘upscaling/remastering’ , I really want to hack into her streaming profiles and change this to the more HD cover with the longer ribbon, don’t get why they didn’t do that when they updated the Apple Music audio to Dolby Atmos

I love that despite the constant vitriol hurled at her, she refuses to make a recluse of herself. She goes out in public without disguise when she wants to (usually for exercise), but it's still great considering she could just lock up at her compounds and still get all the exercise she craves.

My post certainly wasn’t specifically in response to anything you said. Offending people based upon dissecting moral code dictated by dogma that is intolerant and hypocritical is always welcome in my eyes, whether that be through Sinéad’s intelligent, sensitive and sometimes primal choices of expression of rebellion, or Madonna’s storytelling approach. Madonna has always been a deconstructionist of myth by retelling stories in ways that reflect her point of view. She has always left room for the audience to make up their own minds, which is a more traditionally visual artistic trajectory. Sinéad came from the tradition of protest musicians. They have both been effective agitators. Personally, I’m not adherent to group think, and so I’m not entirely sure what you are trying to say here, especially as a Madonna fan on a Madonna forum. If you fundamentally disagree with the concept of offensiveness in art being an agent for socio-cultural and political change, you must find a lot of Madonna’s message throughout her formative years as a public figure unappealing, no? Again, I’m not understanding your perspective and so I don’t mean to project, but I look forward to hearing more from you.
