I really think Prince’s estate are doing a good job with these re-releases. I expected them to just dump random compilations of unreleased songs out there similar to ‘The Vault - Old Friends 4 Sale’ but they’ve actually done a good job with these repackages. I mean this is the 3rd one now and all 3 have been very comprehensive and included live concerts with them, 2 now which have never been officially released. They’ve also put virtually all his music videos on YouTube and the Piano and Microphone and Originals albums they did were both imo good. Their RSD stuff has also been good. Overall much better than what MJ fans have gotten since he died.

I would LOVE for her to switch things up and perform: Bad Girl Rescue Me To Have And Not To Hold Swim is another on my list.

It's all about that Bottom Heavy Dub. NY 90's Underground Runway at its finest. Her maxi single releases were just as, if not more exciting than the album releases for me as a kid. Because you knew one (or in many cases, several) of the of top djs of the time was going to turn it out. So many of her dance mixes are what I feel a lot of the new girls are trying to capture with that 90's sound..... But that's when we had Danny, Junior, Hex, Thunderpuss, Victor and the legendary Mr. Rauhofer. '94-'03 dance mixes/maxi singles were something else.

I find all of his work on Erotica spectacular. Her lyrics paired with his beats are so harmonious together! Very soulful.

Well Alanis is the other extreme, its all she really does. Jagged Little Pill has had more anniversary editions and re-releases than even her fans would want. And if you go see her in concert 80-90% of the songs she performs are off that one album.

My 3 are dependent upon what she's been doing. I think the best thing about a new Madonna concert is when she does songs she doesn't usually do. If you guys can remember after Ray of Light she was always trash talking her earlier hits. I never thought I would hear some of these songs live again. Then she did MUSIC and the Drowned World Tour... and then came the Reinvention Tour and I heard those words.... "what are you looking AT!?" VOGUE ... Finally!!! To me that is what made it so special. To a lesser degree... Like a prayer and Hanky Panky which she hadn't done since 1990 and it would be my first time hearing those live. So as much as I love Vogue and Like a Prayer and Human Nature... they really need a rest for me to have a need to hear them live again. I would choose... Hi! Next August the 1st will be celebrating the 30th Anniversary of an special date: the live broadcast of Blond Ambition Tour from Barcelona. I know it's a very special date for a lot of us and I am wondering if any of the European tv channel could re-broadcast the show... I've just written to TVE, the channnel who broadcast the show live in 1990 here in Spain, but I don't know even if they are going to give me an answer... Can we do anything? Could someome write to your national tv channels?? Let's try it!!!

Madonna isn't signed to Warner and Madonna isn't dead. The Prince estate has a whole team dedicated to putting these things together and working with Warner to put them out. Plus Prince was signed to Warner before his passing. I wouldn't expect a release like this from Madonna anytime soon, that is until the album masters fall back into Madonna's hands like 3-5 years from now. If Warner won't re-certify Madonna's past albums, then they certainly won't work with her in putting together a super deluxe anniversary release. And if Guy O isn't going to manage a release like this, then I don't know how it's going to happen. BUT There was that LAP 4-disc re-release rumored earlier this year. The same time that a "Sign O' The Times" LP re-issue in peach colored vinyl that was rumored for RSD, then cancelled, but now it's finally coming out released along side all of the anniversary re-issues. So maybe we might get something after all!

If we all stream these a lot and make it a success maybe it will encourage them to upload more

I’m glad his music is more accessible but I know this not what he would want. His catalogue is being mined for all its worth and it’s sad. There’s compilations everywhere for him and Bowie. I pray Madonna’s is handled well when she leaves the scene. Hopefully she will leave the rights to it all to Lourdes and David. I don’t trust Rocco... to be honest.

Something is defo going on. I think the Like A Prayer remaster was a test last year. The streams for the additional tracks are Like A Prayer - 12" dance mix - 744, 238 Express Yourself - Non Stop Express Mix - 482,378 Cherish Extended Version - 473,447 Oh Father Single Version - 473,000 Keep It Together - 12" remix - 243,837 Supernatural - 367,886 Thats about 3 million extra streams so far in a year on Spotify alone. Add in You Tube, Apple Music, Tidal and the others and that's some serious streams. Admittedly Like A Prayer & Express Yourself are huge Madonna songs in her catalogue, but she has many other songs that are huge too. At this point any additional content that pushes her streaming numbers up is good. They've probably actually waited until streaming is a huge force to capitalise on it rather than dumping them out there early days when subscriptions were low. Even 100k streams each for the other 250 remixes / version of her old stuff is a lot of numbers.

This website and the concept of dynamic ranges and the story of the loudness wars SHOULD be taught in ALL schools! Mandatory education starting at age 5.

Hi, I decided that after reading a lot about how most of us are not quite happy with the official release of the RHT, we should collaborate to share all the screen recordings we have in our collections, so everyone of us can have the oppourtunity to enjoy the concert the way it was supposed to be watched. I was thinking about editing the show with an audio recording that's not messed up by over-production (the soundoard from Tokyo, for instance) and a proper screen recording with continuous footage of her wearing the same costume - if that can be pulled off. That's why I need your help, I think we could try to regain access to those lost files.
