    It's funny, some fans want desperately for her to work with underground and unknown artists and producers, just like she did in the "good old days", but now every time she does that they're like "who are those??", "Fire what?", "070 who?". Funny. I think all of this (this session and the one from last week) is for the Pride performance: maybe some studio mixes or backing vocals or whatever.

    Watch the video above in fullscreen: What was actually going on off-camera, between 5:09 and 5:15? Just before this moment, she did of course mention that she wanted another shot of tequila. But if you ask me, she definitely did not drink a shot of tequila, judging on her visible movements and her facial expression immediately afterwards. She appears quite bent over forwards (not really a position suitable for 'drinking'), she seems to have some movement in her upper body and I hear something that sounds like a nasal insufflation. At least, this quick and sudden "action" – which apparently also needed to happen off-screen for some reason – comes across as very suspicious behaviour to me. I never would have expected before that she would do any drugs (again, of course, I'm not naïve), but I now can't shake the feeling that she seems to have adopted a much more "relaxed" attitude towards drugs and not just for shock value alone anymore.

    Well, To be honest Celebration album was felt like an illegal fake cheap CD made by the Chinese illegal factory for me. It didn't feel like any effort went into it, it just felt like a cheap album that was quickly made and released to the world to extort money from fans.

    Madonna chooses her team. Let's not pretend she isn't in control of her life, her career, her kids and her relationships. As fans of female artists we often get accused of being misogynistic. I think we have to be mindful of putting the onus on people around her too. It plays to the fact that she isn't in control. Shades of a Britney sitch or whatever. That isn't what is happening here. She knows what she is doing so everything is on her. She's the boss. 100%

    Can someone please explain to me why this piece of "ART" is going for 152,000. USD ?? Sure it's connected to a blockchain and you can prove ownership... but I can also screenshot it or copy and paste the link for it to show up below (like I just did). Like, no one is ever going to open up their computer to show off their NFT collection to a friend and get an awestruck response. The response will come from showing their bank statement showing how much they paid for such crap. If Im wrong, can someone please tell me.

    Yep, "Miles Away" was a big hit in Japan in 2008, thanks a TV series, so it was included. Also, there's a reason why "Give It 2 Me" and "Deeper And Deeper" were not included: to give fans a reason to buy the parent albums or the other compilation where it's included, "GHV2", with "Deeper And Deeper". She's always done that with every compilation, not giving fans everything on one place and leaving certain tracks out to make sure the back catalogue will sell well too. Smart. Now with digital it doesn't matter anymore, but in the age of physical you needed to buy the original album or compilation for some tracks and that meant more money for Warner and her.

    Using analog tapes is a nightmare when we talking about the speed. For example, my very old "The first album" CD has a different speed compared with the official Hi-Res FLAC files, at least the last time a made a comparison (again, barely noticeable). This is the main reason why I never trust in running times. And I don't wanna star to talk about the 7'' records and the speed problems from the masters tapes... Yes, "Like A Prayer" (the album, not the singles) needs a bass boost.

    Thank you! To me, it's the biggest "Celebration" mystery, all the rest we know what happened (bad edits like "Express Yourself" or failed remastering like "Music") but "Like A Prayer" always been a "why??". It must be the B option, yeah, that they took a good tape but something got wrong in the digital process for that one (and no one seemed to care or notice, which is not surprising seeing the rest of the compilation). It's a pity cause apart from the slowed down thing, it doesn't sound bad at all. Bass boost is cool and much needed on that one.

    From the video it's impossible (not FX sound effects). "Like A Prayer" was recorded in digital format, so the speed must be always the same. So you can choose between two options: a) It's was speed down deliberately (this makes no sense) b) It's a copy from an analog tape (a good one) but the speed can change in different "master tape" players, barely noticeable. (this is probably the right option). This is a common problem in any "analog" device.

They're a scam, made to get rich by fooling whoever is dumb enough to think you're paying for a piece of "art" when in reality you're buying an access for it (a link more or less), having no rights on that purchase at all, also dangerous af for the environment. Between Guy and Ric*rdo I really feel bad for who Madonna has in her team 💀

    i just hated the sequence - to me all greatest hits should be oldest to newest songs. its an ok compilation even though we have most of the songs already - to me the biggest letdown was the video compilation .... a travesty for someone who is probably the best video artist of all time - MJ and Bjork being the follow ups
