They’re definitely recent because her hair is shorter. When she went pink, she also cut her hair shorter. Speaking of hair although it was nice to see her change, I think the blond is much more flattering on her than the pink. Also like it shorter, when your hair is long and you bleach it, it gets too damaged and stringy.

When you buy music, you own it (for your own use only, of course); when you stream, you don't own the music, you just get access to it as long as your subscription is active - and as long as the music is available on the platform. You can locally download the file to listen to it withouth Internet, but you can't take the file out of the app. It's not "yours". Two completely different ways of enjoying music - and both valid for different kind of listerners

The people you meet online. This is kinda cool.

It's digital data stored on tape. The way my studio is set up, the computer is in "slave mode" so even if it is receiving data at an imperfect speed, it's just writing out the 0s and 1s as it receives them so the recording ends up being the correct speed in the end. Same reason when you rip a CD, it doesn't have to be done in real time. The fact that my transfer matched the streaming release proves both that the tracks are not remastered at all (GOOD!) and that I'm transferring DATs correctly Eh I don't regret anything... sure some CDs I have I wouldn't pay as much today as I did at the time. But now I'm glad everyone can enjoy the remixes, and I wasn't planning to sell them anyway. So it doesn't make any difference to me I like to collect the cd-refs if I can get them on the cheap even if I don't need any of the tracks.

NRM had enormous potential, but the release was all mucked up. I remember getting a promo CD of remixes in the mid-late Summer of 98, expecting it to be the next single, but Drowned World was shot and released and then Power Of Good-Bye. By the time the video for NRM was released and she was performing it on the Grammy's, the HOT HOT remixes were COLD COLD and old news and then a month later (going from memory) the remixes were released to retail. By then, I'd already had the remixes for 7-8 months .. talk about waiting too long. Cold boogers on a paper plate ...

The way the intern saw us going off about Fever edit 1 & 2 missing and pulled the release so they could go and dig about in M's drawers is a bitsy iconique. Bit distressed about that Bedtime Story cover art too teebs.
