Hi all I have always wanted to edit the different pro shot footage we have of Erotica to use different angles. Think of this as a work print. You can definitely tell the difference between the three sources, so this isn't about a flawless edit, I am not even sure I could match the three close enough for that. However it is interesting how much better this number is when you focus mostly on Madonna. Instead of constant wide shots and cut aways. I use those sparingly or where I have no other choice. Let me know what you think in terms of flow and pacing and all that. This was done quickly, so I don't expect you all to be blown away. Just a quick edit to give an idea of how much better it would have been to have more close-ups and focus on M. The choreography is so small and detailed that wide shots and cut aways ruin it IMO. Maybe one day I will try to work on a better edit, if I have the time. The sources used are below - note to those contributers, if you are not happy with me using these I will take this down. It's an iconic musical, and think some are missing what the story is actually saying. That being said, I don't see Madonna doing a story like this (nor acting) any time soon (for multiple reasons)... and in all honesty, the film version role belongs to the incomparable Glenn Close, who is the most famous face of the stage musical version. If you haven't seen her in it, watch clips from youtube and have your mind blown. It's been rumored for a long time as well that the film version of Sunset Blvd would most likely be Glenn's ticket to a best actress Oscar (and perhaps her last shot), so I don't want to see that opportunity taken away from her. M would be amazing...but Glenn deserves it.

Which bodes really well for future EP's . They're more likely to include the promo only remix edits not typically found on the mainstream release. Fever (edit one) my hole is ready.

Its also crazy that by the end of this week, Juniors Bedtime Story single remix will probably have more plays than the album edit which has been on streaming for maybe a decade on GHV2. These releases are doing wonders for her streaming profile now they're being done correctly.

I don't think the songs are that bad besides the awful mixing and production choices. The major problem for me is that she couldn't decide if the album was a happy-poppy-fun or a divorceé's revenge. The Tour is great though, even with questionable musical direction.

I love almost every song but hey, speaking of under appreciated (from her team atleast), Beautiful Killer should have been a single! Also, Madonna’s voice on Masterpiece couldn’t have been at its finest. It’s one of her most stunning ballads in my opinion.
