Seymour Stein Has Left Us! I need to catch my breath. He Was one of the most influential Men in my Life!! He changed and Shaped my world. I must Explain. I stalked a DJ named Mark Kamin- for a year at a club called Danceteria! In the Early 80’s. He finally agreed to play my demo of a song called “Everybody” on a Saturday night. The Club was packed. An A&R man from SIRE records was there—Michael Rosenblatt. He heard the music and asked me if he could bring me to meet his boss Seymour Stein. I Couldn’t get the words “Hell Yes”!out of my mouth fast enough! Unfortunately Seymour was in the hospital for a Heart Ailment! I didn’t care. Lets Goooooo! When I met him he was laying in a hospital bed wearing his boxer shorts and a wife beater! He had a cannula up his nose and a saline Drip in his arm! He was grinning like the Cheshire Cat. I was carrying my giant boombox ready to play My cassette for him immediately! He smiled and laughed when he saw me and asked me if I was related to the Virgin Mary!! Hahahhahahaa. I knew we would hit it off. I played him the song a few times. He signed me to his record label that day!! This moment changed the course of my Life Forever. And was the beginning of my journey as a Musical Artist. Not only did Seymour hear me but he Saw me and my Potential! For this I will be eternally grateful! I am weeping as I write this down. Words cannot describe how I felt at this moment after years of grinding and being broke and getting every door slammed in my face. Anyone who knew Seymour knew about his passion for music and his impeccable taste. He had an Ear like no other! He was Intense -Wickedly Funny-a little bit Crazy And Deeply intuitive. Dearest Seymour you will never be forgotten!! Thank You! Thank you Thank you! 🙏🏼 💙. . Shine on!!!

I wanted to show you a project I made last year, in light of what I saw posted here by other user showing his Immaculate Collection 30th anniversary box (which is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G). I wanted to make something especial and never before seen from her, so I chose the vinyl format and added som personal touches to the artwork. I'll quote you just the same, for everyone else who hasn't blocked me. Posting a photo of Madonna with Weinstein and saying he was her number one fan is a fact that people can interpret how they see fit. My opinion is that Madonna tried playing the movie industry game just as much as everyone else, she just didn't have the material good enough for the game.

This is exactly how awards work. A LOT is put up behind the scenes to win, expecially an Oscar, a lot of campainin, a lot of money to campain, a lot of meetings etc... I happen to know how a certain french actor ended up winning for best actor when he was a total unknown in the US, did not speak english and the gimmicky movie he won for totally evaporated from cinema history. Weinstein was very good at that but he's not the only one. You have to befriend the right people, some actor and producer circles etc...a colleague who works in Hollywood and has covered the Oscars for 20 years once told me Meryl Streep has an Oscar team she works a year in advance. As for Madonna achieving egot, she's not an ass kisser and she does not play the game so it's most unlikely. You really, really have to be an inustry puppet to win. Madonna won when she "behaved".

The thing that was off about Juniors mixes of Human Nature, was that he didn’t mix it. That was Danny Tenaglia, but I would have liked some variety as far as the dance mixes went. Wasn’t fond of the ‘urban’ mixes.

Just to confirm the February London promotional tour happened between Tuesday 15th February and Friday 18th February 1983 She stayed in North London possibly Prinrose Hill nr. Camden. Tuesday15th Feb:- she landed in the UK Wednesday 16th Feb:- she visited the Warner offices in Soho and Trident Studios also in Soho - just two minutes away. At Trident she listened to a play back of Rusty’s remix, she didn’t say a word about not liking it. That evening she performed at Le Beat Route Club Thursday 17th Feb:- She performed at The Camden Palace. It’s possible she also sat for interviews during the day in the North London flat she was staying in. At The Camden Palace on stage she jokingly told Rusty he was a shit DJ. Later off stage she told him that she wasn’t joking and she hated his mix……….Rusty himself has confirmed this. Friday 18th Feb:- She conducted more interviews during the day and performed at Xenon night club on Piccadilly. Although unconfirmed it’s possible that she attended Malcolm McLarens Friday ‘Buffalo Gals Night’ at The Mud Club following this performance. Record Mirror wrote about the promotional tour in their issue dated weekending Saturday 26th of February1983 - this was published the Monday prior (the 21st of February) - there is no possible way this tour was the 22nd Feb until the 25th February. Furthermore in an article written about the visit from the time it states how cold the weather was when La M arrived - if you search through the weather in London in Feb 1983 you’ll find a very cold spot hit the UK during the second week of Feb Please amend all records let’s get history corrected xxxxxxxx

It's so sad that people here are so full of negativity. I am a producer. I have always used my musical and graphic skills to bring life stuff that us fans always wanted to have. This is EPIC! So was the photo shoot done on February 9 1984 and the video on February 12 1984? I've seen both dates attached to the Borderline video now. Kind of makes sense that the photos were done prior to the actual video shoot so they could be used as props in the video.
