  9. https://mixmag.net/feature/the-blessed-madonna-6-music-k-hand-paul-johnson-interview ok so the Blessed Madonna has revealed that she has just remixed something of Madonna’s that is coming out soon and it’s a duet. A legendary one at that? So who is it? Ariana / Gaga / The Weeknd / Billie ? “What was it like seeing The Blessed Madonna alongside Madonna and Dua on the digital artwork? Wonderful. I mean, I'm a Madonna superfan. I think that a lot of the driving force of that and part of the reason I related to her so much, especially as a kid, was because I was trying to work out a lot of the same stuff as a Catholic person. I really related to where she was coming from. She was certainly my gateway into dance music as much as anyone was, it felt amazing. I am forever grateful to her for letting me be a part of that. And that relationship has continued: I've actually just remixed something of hers. It’s a collaboration with someone else that's getting ready to come out. It’s a legendary duo…”

  10. I interpret that she's talking about Dua. She is being asked about the two of them at first, and she starts talking about her love for Madonna and thanks Dua for letting her be a part of that and then says they'll keep working together in a new remix. "I am forever grateful..." to Dua, for Future Nostalgia club remix album. "That relationship has continued..." with Dua.

  11. "HER" refers to Dua. I'm a Madonna superfan. I think that a lot of the driving force of that and part of the reason I related to her so much, especially as a kid, was because I was trying to work out a lot of the same stuff as a Catholic person. I really related to where she was coming from. She was certainly my gateway into dance music as much as anyone was, it felt amazing. <--- talking about Madonna I am forever grateful to HER for letting me be a part of that. <--- talking about being grateful to Dua for letting her remix a track with her icon, Madonna And that relationship has continued: I've actually just remixed something of hers. It’s a collaboration with someone else that's getting ready to come out. It’s a legendary duo…” <--- Back to talking about Dua

  14. In the whole paragraph she is talking about Madonna and how she influenced her life. It would be strange to just switch it up to Dua in the last sentence without proper context. I do think she meant Madonna.

  17. Clearly, it still refers to Madonna imo, she says this after mentioning how she introduced her to the dance genre, this is why she says "I am grateful to her for letting me be part of that" as she introduced her to dance music

  28. And that makes sense to you how? "I love pizza, I could eat it every day" <<---pizza "its easily my favourite meal" <---- spaghetti ???????? If it's really about Dua, then the writer must have left some pieces out. Because she doesn't switch the subject at all.

  31. Ok i actually found the original interview (screencap and link below). It's actually hard to tell if she's talking about Madonna or Dua. Seems like she's talking about M but the fact she says "i am grateful to her for letting me be part of it" points towards Dua so i don't know. And here is the link : https://mixmag.net/feature/the-blessed-madonna-6-music-k-hand-paul-johnson-interview

  33. Hey, so as many of you may know, the Rebel Heart Tour is one of my favourite tours M has ever put together and today I sat down in honour of our queen's Birthday to take on yet another attempt at creating a tweaked (or even better) version of the IEM soundboard from Tokyo. I started off with the Rockabilly section because why not. It is based on the 'without speech'-edit. I only changed what I personally didn't like about it, so, if anyone wants to make suggestions, I'm open to them. I know that it's not perfect but my aim is to create an 'accurate' version of the tour one day, so maybe some of you prefer the official release and some will stick to the fanmade stuff. I do realize that the second night from Tokyo may be better vocally (a fact that I will reconsider when tweaking 'Burning Up') but the overall quality of the first night is far superior. [Hidden Content] Edits made include: fixed timing at the beginning of Body Shop No interrupting by answering the cue at the start of True Blue No random 'what?' during the first verse of True Blue No (weird) Japanese phrases at the end No shoutout to """Stanley""" during the start of Deeper & Deeper (my brain just couldn't process why she would do that, anyway) — I always hated it!! Enhanced guitar solo after the breakdown Fixed vocal when she loses her voice/gets tired and whispers 'more than I know' Boosted vocals during some parts throughout the whole thing HBC & LAV are going to stay untouched because there are no weird mishaps to my knowledge but as I said, I'm open to suggestions. Thanks for checking out my edit!

  34. so, the bitch was fired, this coming from Columbia's ex-Studio head: https://www.newsweek.com/columbia-ex-studio-head-calls-debra-winger-league-their-own-comments-sour-grapes-1619950 While late director Penny Marshall cannot defend her now-iconic movie, and the film's stars—Madonna, Tom Hanks and Geena Davis—have so far chosen not to engage publicly with Winger, the head of Columbia Pictures at the time, Frank Price, tells Newsweek he is compelled to set the record straight, given he's the one who "released" the actress and replaced her with Davis. "As Price tells it, Winger was bitter about the hiring of Madonna because she was jealous that a woman other than her would be attracting the bulk of attention, given Madonna's stature as one of the biggest pop stars in the world back then. He also says she "threatened" not only Marshall but essentially the entire crew, and that it was his decision to get rid of her, not the other way around." "After we hired Madonna, Debra told Penny to expect 'a long, hot summer' of production, which the director took as a not-so veiled threat," Price recalled. "There's a lot of ways an actor can screw up a director, beginning with being late to the set and refusing to leave the dressing room. You can't have someone with an axe to grind working on the picture." After Marshall took her concerns to Price, he says he called a meeting with Winger." "I agreed to let her make her case, and she showed up with her agent and her lawyer. For an hour she spoke, and when she finished, I hadn't heard one word of apology to Penny, nor did she say she wouldn't make the production difficult, so we settled out her contract," he said.

  35. Wonder who the “legendary” artist is that is included in a new remix? Apparently someone the fans have wanted to see for a long time. I hope it is Kylie…and she did play the “legends” slot at Glastonbury ?????

  36. Maybe Lucky Star. The Dua remix had a Lucky Star vibe. I’d be here for it… and maybe Dua features on the remix as a payback.
