  4. So the tour video Director Sasha Kasiuha has been professionally filming the shows & teased clips on Insta, but since the show in Rio is being broadcast, makes me wonder if we’re getting more than one official release? Will the Broadcast be a 'one off' TV special and we also get the official release that Sasha filmed? Is mamadonna feeding us two pro shot shows?!? If so I think this hasnt happened since we got the WTG japan show officially broadcast and then got the ciao italia show on home video. Hmmmmm makes you wonder...

  13. My dream came true in Miami on April 6 when I had a brief one-on-one eye contact moment with MADONNA!!!! I was front row center off the main stage and in the final moments of "Bitch I'm Madonna," when she marches toward the front of the stage, and before she gets lowered, I stood there, blowing kisses at her. We made eye contact and then SHE LEGIT SMILED. Because I was so startled that I was making eye contact with the QUEEN, I instinctively tilted the camera away! She was looking right at me as she fanned herself, while I blew kisses at her, it was so surreal and magical and I had to share this video!!! Regarding that evening, from where we were sitting, it was very hot but not stifling. We did have a very hard time hearing M when she was talking to the crowd. She did have a very cunty moment before starting "Burning Up." A fan was screaming for her as she was preparing to start the song. She asked him what his name was, whose concert it was and then asked him to "shut the fuck up." Did anyone else hear that exchange? Did anyone catch it on video? BTW, this was my first post on this board, however I have really enjoyed reading and hearing the discourse about the amazing Celebration Tour! Big Hugs to you all! Dreams do come true!!!!!!! Here is a clip from Matt's Video's

  16. We will probably get the Rio footage mixed with 1000 cuts from other venues plus rehearsals and deal. We are lucky to have a show being broacast live, the last time was Drowned World Tour, right? (Besides the MDNA Olympia pocket show and promo tours).

  17. I wonder if they are really really worthy. I mean, ROL is a total masterpiece and they were totally doing that perfect match on those sessions and even when they did the subsequent songs from movies, but by the time Music was being done, it was clear that the new stuff wasn´t that magical anymore, and well, I like his songs on MDNA a lot, but nothing compared with Frozen, ROL and all those 1998 songs. So, I think the best things of ROL have been already released. And the already leaked demos are not that good in my opinion, so I really coulldn´t care less, even if ROL is one of my favourite albums ever, and one the albums that changed my life, literally. And I still feel the magic when I listen to it, remembering those glorious times.

  24. oh please... Madonna doesn't give a damn about some old and obscure demos leaking. She only cares when: - People make money out of it instead of her - People leak stuff BEFORE it is released

  25. He's actually promoting the first tome of a trilogy about his work. Now it's about Taxi Girl, his first band. The second tome will be about himself and the third one about Madonna. No trash talk there, when asked about her during the promo he's always praising her, when reminded he said she drove him crazy during the recording of Confessions so he left, he was quick to say that he was the one having a meltdown and needed mental help then but she treated him the best one could considering his breakdown. He alsi added that people have the wrong impression of her and they would be surprised to know how real and funny she is and he wants to get the record straight. It will also be about the music business. And he does not know about his new album. Sorry Kylie fans, and to torture you even more, he said he has two tracks with her but does not know if they are gonna be released since he may record totally new stuff. The reason why he does not release stuff is because he believes streaming fucks the artists, the Madonna tome will be about this too.

  27. I also hate the 2024 remaster of "Material Girl" with all my guts. "Angel" EP debut numbers on Spotify (first 24 hours): "Into The Groove" is matched with the "Celebration" version, so don't pay attention to that one. Not bad for a forgotten 1985 single that only hardcore fans know it's now on streaming. If only these ones had a little bit more of promo, like they did in the past when they first the singles reissues. But at least we're getting them slowly bur surely.

If it was something major regarding Madonna, why on earth would they let *him* announce it?

  32. I loved the original Tears Of A Clown in Australia. It was really a great show. I wish I were there. So many mistakes, as she said, but she sang Mer Girl, Paradise (Not For Me), Between The Bars, Borderline. I think I would have cried if I were there. Her mood was very bad, that's why calling the show Tears Of A Clown was perfect. I hated the second livestream show, though. Lately, her mood is sometimes good and sometimes bad. But I think that she'll love performing in Rio in front of a million people

  35. Zero reissues yet. I don't think M and team have any interest in the type of reissues that would just satisfy a lot of fans. l expect no reissues but more Tokischa like revisits There is soooooooooo much in the vault its an utterly crazy situation for a global star but team M wont even produce a tour book

  37. With William Orbit I'm sure there are a lot of cool sounds, loops and bits that are interesting but I also doubt there's any unmined masterpieces waiting to be heard. Madonna's pretty efficient with her songwriting for albums, at least she was especially that way back in the late 80s-90s.

  40. In 1974, Madonna was 16 and was in high school at Adams High in Rochester, MI. Wyn Cooper was a classmate and they were assigned to make a short movie for film class. Wyn, Madonna and Madonna's friend Carole Belanger did that Egg movie at a house were Belanger was baby sitting at. Wyn Cooper remembered this about Madonna then : "We developed a friendship and hung out. I had a Mercury Capri with an eight-track tape player. Madonna and I would hop in the car, drive around and listen to Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars while enjoying a little marijuana. She was social but removed at the same time". Wyn Cooper became a poet and in 1987 he released "The Country of Here Below" a poetry book, only 500 copies were printed. One of the poem was called "FUN" and started like this "All I wanna do is have a little fun before i die". Crowe's first album was recorded at Toad Hall Studio in Pasadena with record producers Bill Bottrell* and Kevin Gilbert*. Bottrell took a break and went to next door Pasadena's Playhouse and found copy of Cooper's book in an used bookstore, Crowe wasn't satisfied with a track she recorded "Still Love you", they rewrote the whole song adapting the poem hence Cooper getting a credit that bought him millions of dollars. * What is really strange though is Bill Bottrell and Kevin Gilbert were respectively mixer and sound engineer assistant on Madonna's albums Like A Prayer, I'm Breathless (he even co-produced the Sondheim tracks) and they mixed the concert parts in Truth Or Dare. Gilbert mixed Now I'm following You Part II and the bottom remixes of Hanky Panky. They both were in Pat Leonard's Toy Matinee band. Bottrell was also a producer for Michael Jackson on Dangerous... (Gilbert was Crowe's bf at the time and they had a big fall out, Bill Bottrell and him accused her of wrongfully crediting herself for the work they did on the album and ignoring them went it became succesful. Gilbert was also mad at Madonna for unknown reasons. He had a mental breakdown and killed himself in the late 90's) That's a good example of how small the world can be.

  45. Amen! Release all the tracks everywhere. I don't get the regional exclusives. I'm also sick of the Standard/Deluxe/Super Deluxe/Bonus tracks releases. It's one thing to re-release something down the line with more tracks, but when it's first release, just make all songs available on one format. Of course, it's all making more money, but it's a real turn off.
