    My eyes are hurt seeing like that, and even if it´s a performance, it´s the same. She was for me the icon of the opposite. On the other hand, seeing how she is behaving and what kind of art she is creating, I would not be surprised if she was really drinking and lord knows what more recently, and I do feel 100 xr 100 she is not happy nowadays..to me that´s not the image of being happy with your life.

    Hi all Yesterday Fighter and I transferred the forum over to the new server. I want to give a HUGE thank you to @Fighterfor guiding me every step of the way. If it wasn't for them, there'd be no forum as I really was 'like a virgin' - I think I'm now still a 'baby' Madonna with this, but certainly know a lot more than I did yesterday! Nothing will change, all the same rules, expectations, community standards will remain the same. All moderators will stay the same and I hope @Fighteralso stays as a member/admin!     Probably she's doing it because of the talks everywhere... you know, artists are here to disturb the peace. But that for me it's not art, it's cheap, ordinary etc... If she's happy with it ok, meanwhile I'm starting to listen other artists like Rosalia. Young generations are coming with a lot to say and fresh ideas and collaborators.

    The Warner press release mentions “as well as introduce unique releases for special events” Maybe this is a “special event” type of release and she’s partnering with Billboard to re-launch the Dance Club Songs chart. Ive mentioned this numerous times throughout this thread, but the Dance Club Songs chart is still suspended, and has been since March 2020. Madonna is the queen of the chart, so who better to relaunch it than her?

    She's always done the drunk/high act when needed or for attention, it's nothing new, while being clean in real life. I can't remember the source (Debi Mazar? Michael Rosenblatt? Definitely someone close to her then), but I remember stories about her early days in New York where they said she pretended to be drunk in clubs cause everyone else was and she knew she wouldn't be accepted any other way, while drinking juice actually. She knew she needed the night life networking and be a part of them. When talking about alcohol, she's always said she's done-drunk after just one/two drinks maximum. Every time she's talked about drugs is the same: sometimes she's said she never did anything, others that she's tried a little bit of everything, very vague answers. Of course maybe it's different now and she's more relaxed about it all, anyway it's her choice and her life.

    To me, it is obvious she has been very unhappy and out of touch for some time now, the bitchy behavior, sex toy boyfriends, living isolated with just a circle of useless handlers and the drinking are all results of unhappiness. I think the divorce damaged her more than people realize, she did not take it easily. What is more is that she is fully aware her career is in decline. In the past, even when there was shit going on in her personal life, she still had a massive career to keep her motivated and strong. I think its important to remember that behind the strong as iron persona, Madonna is still just a person like anyone else. At least her children seem to bring her genuine happiness. I think that another album or big tour would go a long way in getting her motivated again

    Honestly yes. You can hate me for my opinion but i think she's drinking to much also smokes. What happened to her Moto? "My body is a temple". No alcohol, no drugs, no cigarettes, no tattoos. Now everything is different now. In the past two years almost every Instagram video or post she shared is when she drinks Vine, eating unhealthy snacks and smoke( idk what, cigarettes or joint). But hey if you think otherwise it's okay, that's just me thinking.

    Its Disney's fault, I'll say it louder for the people in the back. They saw in the 80s that MJ and Madonna were raking in $ and they ruined pop music. Now their little dingleberrys like Justin Timberlake, Miley, Britney, Jonas Brothers, Xtina, Olivia Rodrigo all Disney shite that took what was left of the grit and fun out of pop music, sanitized and McDonald-ized. Now there is a new generation that wants to recycle/replicate the recycled/replicated Disney shite and its just a big gross human centipede of marginal talent and big Disney bucks. Also American Idol and other shit talent shows had a role in sanitizing and ruining the fun of pop music. Twenty years on and they've only produced a handful of true "idols". Karaoke garbage.

    With all due respect, we have very unrealistic expectations for a mature woman entering her fifth decade in the music business. I think, as fans, we were spoiled with the idea of Madonna ruling the world for decades that perhaps we forgot, that in fact, most pop stars have a very short shelf-life. Madonna held on to the top of the charts for much longer than anyone could have ever dream of - 30 years of Top 10 hits to be exact - so a gradual decline was bound to happen at some point. That being said, I'd say she is still doing pretty well for herself - her tours still sell out, her albums still debut at #1, she's the most streamed female artist from the 80's, 'Madame X' was her best reviewed album since 2005. Granted a 63 year old pop star cannot compete with the Arianas or Billies or the world but which of her peers possibly can? Will anyone care enough to post in a Billie Eilish forum in 2048, though? That's still to be determined.

    From this comment, can we assume then that in reviewing your life over the last twenty five years that you have never shifted, wavered, outgrown something or someone, buckled down, given up, separated, joined, started, or finished anything or evolved at all? It’s pure madness to trivialize someone’s life in this way. What insight permits anyone to make this type of generalization?! I’m looking for the humor in this, and don’t mean to single you out. However, it’s becoming untenable to read these dismissive, misinformed comments on forums. It’s as if we are all seeing a totally different human being at this point. ?

    Nobody was saying Madonna was sinning by drinking a bunch of alcohol, does not change the fact she is drinking too much these days. I do not need to know her personally to have concerns about behavior I see, especially when I have been a lifelong fan. Are you aware that alcoholism runs in her family and that there have been leaks from people in her inner circle who are concerned? She can do whatever she wants, even if its a bad habit that fans should be concerned about. Don't be so over sensitive, Madonna will be fine without your protection. Also, I stand by what I said concerning alcoholics and how they usually make no effort to conceal the fact they are alcoholics, even if they themselves dont think they are. Being realistic and having concerns about her behavior is me being a fan who actually cares about her. It has nothing to do with wanting Madonna to be an alcoholic, she is showing the signs of being one and I am realistic enough to have fears and suspicions. Why do fans like you think that this stuff is done out of trying to hate on Madonna?
