  8. That’s what is so exciting about this agreement - there could be many songs we don’t know about ?? I just hope it’s executed well - packaging is important but at the end of the day it’s about substance not style

  11. We have all read and heard made up stories about celebrities, but that video making the rounds on Facebook about Madonna is something else lol, it's so far from reality but yet so well told that i don't know if i hate it or love it, if i should cry or laugh. Maybe it's something you love to hate. It's Iconic. https://fb.watch/7FNbAZzrhx/

  13. He also did an amazing job with the Oddysey album of Take That. I wish a future greatest hits compilation bt Madonna would take that route, a great re-Invention of hits while being truthful to the original songs. Love it.

  15. Stuart. For sure. He was the Music Director for the whole Re-invention Tour, making big re-inventions or re-discoverings like The Beast Within, Don't Tell Me, Into the Groove, Papa Don't Preach or Music. In fact, he also was the Music Director for the Drowned World Tour earlier, and the responsible for its enigmatic and thrilling intro (ROL sirens... Express yourself, don't repress yourself... DW/SFL organs... Do you like my acid rock... and people going crazy). The IGTTYAS is another example of what he is capable of doing with music, but his best work was, with no dobut, Confessions on a Dance Floor (album and tour). Only someone with so much love for the music of the 70s and 80s could think of using the Abba sample, or doing that mix of Future Lovers with I Feel Love, or that version of Music Inferno, or taking out of the trunk of oblivion what at first we called You Thrill Me, the Erotica demo. I wish Madonna would go back to working with Stuart Price some day. With Stuart, second parts are always even better than the first.

  17. 2025 is the year Madonna and Warner Bros get the rights to MDNA, Rebel Heart and Madame X. It's also the year this album turns 10. We all know how troubled this album's production was, specially after the leak and how Madonna rushed to hire other producers to change the songs since Avicii was sick at that point. We have god knows how many unfinished demos. All of the album leaked in at least 5 versions, Madonna wanted it as a double album, with a Rebel side and a Heart side and we got everything mixed together with a weird mixing, placement, etc... There's an AMAZING record in there for us to have tbh. Specially the Avicii tracks: Imagine Never Let You Go as a bonus demo track in HQ finally. Huh...so many possibilities with this new Warner deal. I seriously hope they make the most out of it. I don't mind to sell my car to pay for it all, lmao.

  22. I personally love LAP now, I'm loving it more and more everyday, I just can't get into it as much as the other albums, maybe it was just too different from what I expected? I wish it was all a rock/gospel album, following the sound of LAP, TDDUA and Love Song (not really in love with this one, but it's the kind of intriguing rock sound I wish the whole album had) with the add of ballads as beautiful as Oh Father, but I find songs like cherish and Jessie so out of place overall, they kinda ruin my mood while listening to the whole work, idk if it makes sense, it's hard to explain And about Hard Candy, idk it's just a lot of fun

  24. The Like A Prayer album shading while giving praise to MDNA and Hard Candy is giving me big “I’m not like other gays” energy. I cannot. Some of you cigs literally cannot leave the disco for 45 minutes and it shows. Madonna bears her entire soul for the first time on record and explores different musical styles outside of synths and it’s not special? It literally rebirths here career after Who’s That Girl was her first major flop and her sound started to repeat and sound tired. Someone been fuckin with the Kool-aid Wendy. I get the thread title but guuuuurl!

  25. Don't buy it then, I promise you it wont affect Madonna LOL! And there are LOTS of us out here that would love this. We are ALL NEVER gonna be satisfied with everything she does. But I support anything after this LOOOOOONG ASS SILENCE from her & absolutely NO love shown to her past! Bring it ALL the fuck on!

  29. Thank you! I posted this on twitter and tag everyone. I think Rhino is aware this mockup, they liked a message posted by Paul from superdeluxeedition.com. I was watching a unboxing video for a Led Zepelin's boxset album and I assuming Kevin Gore overseen this one. So I'm not worried anymore about the art direction, I just hope they stop using scanned images of the artwork sleeves like they did on cds, vinyls and even in streaming services. I'm now worried about the content, I need in my life every different take, early mixes and demo included.

  32. Hm interesting. Because I feel like most of the demos are cohesive while the final production is messy and all over the place. I always assumed Kanye and Mike Dean intervened after the leak happened. She even said in your post that she changed songs that she was happy with because of that

  35. Well, I love "American Pie" too... and I think like someone said before that "Ray of light" didn't age so well. I enjoyed it in 1998 very much but now, for me, it's her most boring album. I think some people loves it just because it was beginning of her last big years for the general public. And other thing that I hate is when people say "This album/song/tour/performance" is overrated without arguments. I mean, some times a song, album, tour... are remembered for the impact when it was released. I can understand that a 20 years fan can say that "Like a virgin" (it's just an example) is overrated but it's because he only knows the album and saw the youtube clips and things like that... People that lived that time has a different point of view...

  39. The Lady Gaga feud turned off the younger generation (especially lgbt) more than any of the trend chasing and social media antics. A duet around the time of their SNL skit would have been perfect. I like a few songs from it, but Madame X (album and tour) is wildly overrated by her fans. The biopic needs to have major young stars attached or the general public isn't going to care the way her stans think they will. Aside from the Superbowl, 4 Minutes, Confessions, and the Britney kiss, she hasn't been on the American GP's radar for 2 decades now unless it's completely negative press. That is a lonnngggg time... I'm aware of how unpopular these opinions are to people here, but that's what this thread called for. A wise woman, who I still adore, once said "Handle it".

  40. True! Both sort of lose steam halfway through and just end on moot notes IMO. My opinion: She doesn't know how to sequence the tracks on her albums post Erotica properly (sans Music). It will start upbeat and then slows down and then it just ends on a downtempo or a ballad instead of sprinkling the uptempos throughout so at least she can end on a ballad and it doesn't leave the listener feeling like something is missing. Confessions is the worst because it starts so grand and fabulous and then the good drugs from the club wore off halfway through and you're still partying but it doesn't hit the same as the beginning.

  41. I'd add that she needs to be less of a cunt to her fans and show up on stage at a decent time. It's one thing to not grow your audience anymore, it's another to purposely erode the fanbase that you have. She's been pissing her fans off for a while now and it's completely preventable - and from a business point of view (since she's always called such a smart business woman) unacceptable.

  42. I don’t know why people try to blame Trump, Gaga, GenZ or anyone but Madonna for her decreased success. The cold hard facts are that she’s not working as hard as she used to and she doesn’t have an effective label and management to secure the success of her work. I noticed that in the early 2000s all the major artists of her generation were wiped out because they didn’t adapt well to the age of internet and illegal downloads. While Madonna did and still went strong until the age of streaming and social media that finally got her. All she needs to do is clean up her social media, allow her management to actually manage her and make a streaming friendly album. She needs a full rebranding and a lot of compromising.

  43. She's in desperate need of a damage control tour – much more than in 2004. So whenever she hits the road again, if she comes up with a tour like that, people will sell their grandmothers to get a ticket. The Queen of Pop Tour 2023 01. Express Yourself 02. Madonna sings better live now than she did in the 90s ..there i said it ..excluding eurovision - i agree with most of what you said apart from future and u b being her worst songs ever ..that belongs to birthday song and autotune baby oh and mdna is not her best album ..it could have been if she put her heart and soul into it but she didn't her best album is ray of light ...
